the pilot was a excellent pilot which is the baffling part, even kylie jenner when she does helicopters that's the pilot she used the most
idk for sure but just based off researching people say trying to hover in foggy conditions isn’t a good idea, because the helicopter can easily start to tilt one direction without you realizing till it’s too late. The correct move is to try and keep flying it.
1. keep flying
2. Identify your location
3. Navigate out
Pilot couldn’t get passed step 1 because he didn’t realize how close they were to the hills. again I’m not 100% sure but that’s what I’ve gathered
