John coached Aaron Judge and Jeff Mcneil

:mjcry:

It's since been reported that longtime college baseball coach John Altobelli, 56, his wife Keri Altobelli and their daughter Alyssa were among the casualties. Alyssa, 13, played basketball on a club team with Bryant's daughter, Gianna, who also died in the crash. They had been on their way to Bryant's Mamba Academy in Thousand Oaks, Calif, for a game.

Trying to find the box score to a preseason game Lakers Clippers played here in 1996. Can't remember if Kobe played or not. Shaq was there and I remember a falling out of bounds shot Eddie Jones hit.

Only other time I saw Kobe was in Chicago in 2009. I'll have to find a broadcast of that game, I didn't even see the first quarter because of some ticket shyt.

I have a Kobe jersey from '98 and an 81 point game plaque still in bubblewrap. Kobe was my favorite athlete ever, feels like my own bad luck that this happened.
