Rather, you hope so, or else you won't have anything to criticize.

:laff: This isn't the first time he has had a phase where he was a willing passer. I can think of countless other times where he did this and people thought he had changed for good but once his teammates have a spell where they miss a few open shots, he throws this in the bushes and never looks back and his Stans don't blame him. It's apparently just fine for him to lose faith in his teammates when they miss a few shots in a row even though he never ever loses faith in those contested fadeaways :troll:

Let me ask you this...

Should Kobe keep passing the ball to his teammates if they're missing open shots the whole game?

Other than than the whining about Stans you're mostly right....

Kobe has done this before on and off throughout the years (and this season). Once dudes either don't show up to play or keep missing wide open shots he does what he feels he needs to do on his own.

I will say though he'll consistently go to some guys. Ron Artest consistently gets passes from Kobe even when he's not knocking them down. Pau was getting that treatment for a while too till he started constantly passing up open looks.

he should pass this much in the first place...

this pass clinic is to get the team going.. average 7 APG will suffice... but his team knowing when their free they will get the ball is the behaviour he needs to adapt.

i have no problem with him shoot 15-20 shots a night

but 25fg+ with low assist... its asking for L's.. the opposing team wont even double team you, since your helping them win.

:pachaha: People really think this facilitating gimmick will last. He's just doing this to placate dwight

Once the lakers go on the road and these same forced passes are being dropped and the shots are missed and the lakers are down 14 as usual kobe will go into "Mamba mode" and get his 36 points on 29 shots and the lakers will lose by 10

It's not in Kobe's nature to pass the ball like this. It's foreign to him. It's a shame because if he plays like this and the team clamps down on defense they will win under D'antoni.

It's all good that they've won two with Kobe facilitating, but lets wait and see how they bounce back when his teammates start missing shots. With Pau, he seems to be shooting with his life on the line every time. Like all it takes is two missed shots and his fans start talking about trading him again. How many bricks will it take for Kobe to take over?

Not to shyt on it, but it looked forced as hell to have all 5 guys keep huddling up pumping each other up after every time the game was stopped :childplease:

So give the Lakers credit, playing in a way that they haven't been certainly is taking teams by surprise, as a result they're capitalizing from it and winning. But let it run its course first before waiting to see if Lakers have made a permanent turn for the better.

It's a small number of people who do THAT.....

Most people's problem with Pau is that he's not aggressive enough. Dude will play passively as hell and commit turnovers trying to make the extra pass. Then he goes down the other end of the court wont defend or so much as leave his feet to grab a rebound.

They have always been better when he makes an honest attempt to involve his teammates, he's just not really willing to lose a game playing that way. If Westbrook wasn't missing wide open looks all day, this would be thrown in the bushes already even though the stats always overwhelmingly show that the team has been more successful when Kobe uses his teammates.

He needs immediate and constant results to justify sacrificing his own style of play for the team. When he was taking on the role of trying to guard the other team's playmaker, it was all good when they were winning and Brandon Jennings was doing his best Artesticles impersonation. The next game, Kobe gets his ass roasted by Dwyane Wade on both sides of the floor and he quickly makes it clear that he is fatigued and it's taking too much out of him to play offense AND defense so they immediately had to make adjustments so he wouldn't have to guard world beaters like Jose Calderon for a whole game :comeon:

So when other guys score the team does better? :ohhh:

I see you nikkas still don't realize that a pass and an assist aren't the same thing. In order to get an assist the guy receiving hte pass has to actually score.

nikka shut ya bytch ass up. nikkas love hating kobe when in reality he will be the best thing u guys will ever witness on a b ball court. How could u hate greatness?
