honestly just watch a recap. ddd is my 3rd least favorite game.You mean to tell me ddd wasn't a rehash with a all-new story and monsters you can fight with?
It's one of the most important games to play!?
I thought that shyt was like chain of memories just a different style of gameplay.
Think I could beat ddd by tomorrow? I'm at the part in travest town, I think I was riku then I switched back to sora.
Like 30-45 minutes in the game, I'm stuck fighting the same nikkas.
I don't have bbb, but I'll watch that shyt.
Never thought about this, but DDD BBB is there a reason they all have the same first letters of three words? Random thought.

I'm only 12 mins in and that is BBS, KH1, and part of KH2 and its confusing as hell. There's just too much going on to properly follow it. Too many layers. Too many poorly explained concepts.
Like in KH1 Kairi's heart leaves her body and goes with Sora off Destiny Island. Why wasn't a heartless and a nobody spawned at that point? Why instead was only her nobody spawned later when Sora unlocked his heart and became a heartless? Are the princesses of heart unable to spawn heartless when their hearts leave them? Fine if so but what about the nobody namine. Why wasn't she spawned when Kairi's heart left her originally?

The plot was already destroyed by KH2, went from a story about a boy tryna save his friends fight darkness to some nonsense about time travel, evil clones and other nonsense

Princesses of lights can't produce heartless as they are pure lights. They have 0 ounce of darkness inside of them. A nobody is only formed when one loses their body. Kairi never lost her body. Only her heart.
It's the same way for riku. He never produced a heartless because he never loss his heart. He just had his body snatched by Ansem,

So why was her nobody formed when Sora formed one? Her heart and body were all in the same room at the same time as was Sora’s.
What even is a heart? Is it another word for soul or do souls exist in Kingdom Hearts also?
Her nobody got formed because her heart was in Soras heart the whole time once they left destiny island, so when he released his heart he did hers and thus her nobody got formed (this why she has sora’s memories) so really Sora formed a heartless, a nobody, and a hybrid nobody of sorts.
I think the heart really is a soul in that universe, cause technically you don’t die your essence is just split, but if your nobody and heartless are both destroyed you essentially are reborn.

I never said it's not confusing at certain points lmao. I openly admitted the time travel shyt in ddd is unnecessary and convoluted. I also admitted 0.2 is one big retcon that hurts the overall story and doesn't help it in anyway. It also devalues the best scene of the entire series which is "Blank Points"

They both were released from the same body. Roxas and Namine aren't normal "nobodies" they are the by product of a one of a lifetime freak accident involving a princess of heart. The "rules" don't apply to them. That's really the simplest answer to explain their existence. It shouldn't of happened but it did because of the one in a million chance events that took place.
Heart Body and Soul are all different entities. The "Soul" is actually explored in KH3 that i myself haven't seen the info about yet. I only know about that from this
The "Soul" was talked about in ddd but wasn't really explained. I think the soul is where memories are stored and are what allows the "Reformed human" to remember his/her events as a nobody,
If u just want a quick rundown on the absolute need to know events.
