Got to the
scene and cut it off there. Damn work. Hopefully it snows tomorrow so i can call out and really go in.
The opening was amazing. I still think DDD has the best opening but this opening visually is really good and i actually do like the song(i didn't at first but it did grow on me) However it just doesn't sync nearly as well as some of the other openings. If i had to rank the openings it would go
DDD
KH2
0.2
KH3
KH1
BBS
Also cool that they finally confirmed Kairi's chess piece. Yea we all knew it was her but it's nice to have it officially confirmed. That was the only light piece we couldn't 100 percent identify.
Also during the convo with young xehanort and young eraqus if u looks closely they were actually recapping the series. Vanitas was already taken and is off the board, Ansem's piece took riku. Sora's piece took Ansem. Then it zooms in on Sora vs Master Xehanort. I just thought that was really cool.
Pretty cool we get the dlc keyblade right off the back(well i guess for the digital buyers)
Combat feels good. Not quite as solid as kh2 but i'll save judgement until i unlock most of the abilities. I don't really like having the situation commands as a trigger. I much rather have them at my disposal on the actual menu like kh2 was.
Graphically though this game is fukking gorgeous. Kinda insane to see how good the disney characters look. Especially compared to the old 2013/2014 footage when everyone had clay faces.
Love that they included the 0.2 secret ending scene at the beginning. Was wondering how the game was just gonna start off since this is the first game we start off in a disney world. All the other games we started off in a original world. But including the 0.2 scenes helped set the tone for that.
Really liking the dialogue between sora/donald and goofy so far as well. Nomura said he wrote the entire script this time around. Even for the disney worlds. Last time he did that was for days and i always thought that had the best dialogue of the series.
