But the thing is, our social scenes encourage that. Especially young black women that stay on social media, chasing superficial images and not looking deeper into smoke and mirrors.
One must have depth to see depth. You cannot be a puddle peering into the ocean.

:usure: White lady ain't playing, bytch doing research. She also has vids reviewing another well regarded book on femininity, Fascinating Womanhood. I've read it myself. :ehh:

Wow. Ain't this some shyt. White women are reading books written by our Supereme Mothers and black women are being inspired by Marget Sanger and Gloria Steinem.

:pachaha:No, her man is white. She's a submissive woman. She's not researching US, she's researching submission. There really aren't a lot of sources (I know bc I read these books too), much less anybody still alive and willing to talk that shyt in today's climate.

She probably found out about the book through the algorithm.
Damn so she's just looking for whatever she can find. Wasn't there a black couple on this wave as well the got interviewed by someone.

This is also why brother's must be discerning. SMP is messed up right now because dudes will do anything for a little interaction with a woman. That's desperate, that is not safe or conducive to building anything. It's like the hunchback in 300.

 Sounds like you letting young women lead. Men set the tone.

I'm not worried about me. I'm worried about the next generation of young black men that graduated from college, but still have that heavy high school peer pressure in the age of social media. Thats why you see a lot of 20 somethings and even 30 somethings still playing childish games.

Thats another reason im so glad KS' platform is doing well. There really was no 'respectable' elder (late 30s- early 50s) bm segment on sm. Y'all needed to voltron up, which is now happening. :ehh:

You and your husband should teach a class. Though it might get hashtagged and shut down by twitter.
We're too private and sm requires too much (of me, of my energy). I have other things to do.

But if i did, Id be more likely to be a skill based content creator, with my personal life only an incidental detail.

Real mentorship of young black men and our contemporary problems like status chasing, double standards, and overall generational effects of white supremacy is needed REALLY, REALLY BAD. Like, existentially bad. The disconnect of the last 10 year's did monumental damage that we needed to been click up, like you said.

Cause letting these black feminists, black male haters, and whote folks trying to control the narrative of the truth, isnt helping us on social media.

Someone once said a lot of us are serious about not being serious. For too many of us being superficial and trivial is our comfort zone.
