Nah, you're wrong

2 top 7 players and a top 15 player took paycuts to play together

That has not happened in the history of modern basketball
KD is a top 3 player himself. Curry is top 2. You add Klay and Draymond that's two top 20 players. Not to mention a tram that has the COY and broke the all time win record. The Warriors don't need KD To win another title. You couldn't say the same about the 2010-2014 Heat.

Heat weren't elite when LeBron joined them he made them elite. And LeBron didn't join the team or players that beat him. It's nothing alike other than playing with all stars. :camby:

The heat set a precedent, talk to nba players and they will tell you

Yes this warrior team would be much better, but the heat started that corny sh*t

When have 3 stars taken paycuts to team up?

You're bringing up sh*t that almost happened. :mjlol:

Miami was unprecedented, your agenda won't change that

Bringing up teams from the 80s is irrelevant, there were like 22 teams in the league
There is no agenda you don't know your history simple as that.

Stars play with stars in this league. LeBron playing with :flabbynsick: Shaq and Mo Williams, D-Wade with a rookie Michael Beasley and :flabbynsick: Jermaine O'Neal. The Celtics out here with 3 HoFers and an All-Star PG running the East. These nikkas decided to make something happen simple as that. Damn near every great team in history has a big 3.

Compare the Celtics giving up assets to acquire 2 past their prime all stars while winning with rondo (who looked NOTHING like an all star at the time) to the heat clearing cap room and having two of the top 7 players and another top 15 player take paycuts so they could stack their team as much as possible, brehs

Pierce was 30, KG was 31, Allen was 32 they were in the latter part of their primes do I have to post their stats prior to joining Boston? They played at All-Star levels for years after the trade.

:usure:

By 2010 when they formed their Big 3, Rondo was an All-Star player. They had four All-Stars doesn't matter how it happened. Pierce needed help and got it. They would have made three consecutive Finals if not for KG's injury in '09.

By the time rondo was an all star Garnett was 33, ray 34, pierce 32

Competition? Durant will still be the top player

What if GS signs D.Nowitzki & C.Parsons,LA signs Derozen & whiteside and SA signs Batum & Jefferson ? ......good chance these teams won't have the money to sign Durant next season. That's 3 teams off the table.Fast forward to 2017.

2017 free agent list:

S.Curry
R.Westbrook
L.James
B'Griffin
K.Durant

L.James would be the top free agent, not K.Durant.....

All this drip on me
Wait so @houston911 let me get this straight homie...you're willing to claim that the Boston big 3 ring chasing situation is different than the Miami big 3 ring chasing situation ...yet fail to (or purposely not willing) to admit how KD's potential move to the Warriors is different than the Miami situation.

Here's the facts only: KD is joining a historically great team that has already won a NBA championship recently with their multiple all-stars, ready made chemistry and an elite system in tact.

Lebron, Bosh, KG and Ray Allen joined their respective teams with the hope that they may win a NBA championship together and had the uncertainty of not having a system established nor chemistry. In fact both Big 3s first season were following these circumstances : Heat were destroyed in the damn 1st round before Bron/Bosh came and the Celtics were dead LAST place in the east, winning only 24 games the entire season before KG/Allen came.

So unlike them, KD isn't looking to turn a non-contender into a contender, he's explicitly looking to join the best possible contender he can find and just ride their wave while getting paid as much he can possibly can for that ring-chasing venture. There's no sweat equity involved, if he leaves OKC. The Warriors would have 2 MVPs in their prime, 4 NBA All-Stars in their starting 5, and 5+ Olympic gold medalists on their roster. They'd literally bring players good enough to help team USA win Olympic gold - off the bench.:whoo:

@DarrynCobretti durant joining the Warriors is WAY WORSE than the heat sh*t. They'd be the most stacked team of all time on paper

I'm just saying it's the heat that started this corny sh*t

I've already said (maybe in other threads) that durant to golden state would be the biggest hoe move ever....but I guess guys wanna take what the heat did one step further

media is being real transparent about this move
They see the winds hinting at KD going to GS better start shytting on Lebron again and point out how much more his championship with the cavs trumps the 2 with the heat
