SMFH at notion that Curry would become a spot up shooter if KD went to the Warriors.
Kevin Durant wants three things:
Be on a team best positioned to win him a championship.
Be on a team that pays him the most money offered.
Be on a team where he's the man.
Outside of the Spurs and GS, that cancels out all the other teams with the immediate ingredients for a championship run.
However BOTH GS and the Spurs lack the CAP SPACE for Durant and if the try to lose players to free up cap space, that could risk themselves as title contenders too.
This leaves the more likelihood that Durant is STAYING in OKC. Presti is already making moves to ensure the team is in the position to take it all being that they were so close to making the finals this past season. They GOT all the cap space to keep Durant good financially, and DURANT would still be the man inside of second or third fiddle if going to the Spurs or GS.
Lmao it's in no way the same.Better not see one Bron fan try to say KD is a bytch if he goes to GS or the Spurs. Bron started that bullshyt. I, for one, hate that shyt but it would be pure hypocrisy for a LeBron fan to try to act like this isnt what Lebron started
He's gonna do the one year deal thing and do this all over again next summer. I could see both him and Russ leaving next summer if they aren't able to win this season
Lmao it's in no way the same.

There is no precedent its always happened throughout the history of the game...The heat set the precendent, now people will try to one up what they did

Miami was a response to Boston. LeBron and Wade were victims to Boston while Bosh was called an empty stats player who couldn't get Toronto in the playoffs.
No, I'm not what you think they ranked as players is irrelevant. The point is All-Stars teamed up, great players looked to play with great players...Nah, you're wrong
2 top 7 players and a top 15 player took paycuts to play together
That has not happened in the history of modern basketball

James and Wade carried poor casts for years losing to a stacked Boston team while Bosh couldn't make the playoffs.
Pierce, Garnett, Allen, Rondo
Shaq, Kobe, Payton, Malone
Hakeem, Drexler, Charles Barkley, later Scottie Pippen
How about way back when Wilt joined West, Goodrich and Baylor?
Orlando almost had a Tracy McGrady, Grant Hill, Tim Duncan big three. At the end of the day the greatest teams won because they had multiple HoFers and All-Stars. Bird had McHale/Parish/DJ, Magic had Kareem and Worthy, Jordan had Pippen and Rodman. Whether it's organic through drafting or free agency and trades. Stars playing with stars have always happened.
