It’s a horrible point actually.

Let’s not value championships, production, longevity, feats, leadership etc

Let’s instead overvalue how he makes you feel. Sounds like lil sister bullshyt to me.

That’s why a lot of people on this board get to windmilling, crying & cursing when you say something that plays as criticism.

Grown ass man in love with another Grown Man? It’s ok to be a fan but these nikkax be sounding like they ready to turn tricks

:mjtf:

So you lack nuance and didn't read both posts in its entirety...... I explicitly stated do not UNDERATE Timmy for bullshyt reasons...

Now LeBron shouldn’t even need an explanation. But showed he could impact a team from the first day he stepped in the league. Before he even reached his prime he was taking the Pistons to 7 games, than beating them, and than taking Boston to 7 games. When he reached his prime the Cavs lost to Orlando and Boston but raising that team to win 60 or more games was mind boggling. Yeah the 2011 Finals is a black mark. But than reaching the finals so many consecutive years in the modern era is an impressive achievement. He did play in the lesser conference but having the focus and stamina to do that is underrated by most people. Especially when you have to deal with injuries to your 2nd or 3rd best player. He dominated the regular season especially when younger than usually raised his level of play in the playoffs. His longevity is matched by few. At his peak his combination of scoring, playmaking, and defense was damn near unprecedented in NBA history. And his ability to raise teams up is matched by few. So I don’t see how he could only be 10.
LeBron impacted Cleveland, but they missed the playoffs the first 2 seasons. Meanwhile his peers in Wade and Melo were leading their respective teams to the playoffs. Dwyane Wade pretty much singlehandedly won his team a championship. Point being is LeBron is always overrated despite achieving less than some of his peers. He has 3 rings, same as his classmate in Wade. The same number as Steph Curry who started playing 6 years later.

Too many guys had higher peaks?

HELL NAH

Kobe at his absolutely best can be mentioned with anyone other than mike

Dude.... it's like I swear these nikkas are 16 year olds....... Kobe at his best had peers for maybe 3 to 5 years tops... and the only one that mattered for real was T Mac... not Ray, not Piru P, not anybody...... but Tracy.... the only other person you could compare Kobe to at his peak was an arguable undisputed GOAT, who had already left the game but his legend lived on... but somehow, egghead online mofos can pseudo justify ranking him outside the top 10 of all time..... boy this world gon be a global circus in 10 years....

Saying he dominated in the 90s is absurd

you know what I mean, right after 98 Kobe and Shaq were in that timeslot
the train ran from Jordan straight to Kobe and Lakers domination there wasnt room for anyone else

Spurs and Lakers were in 13 of 19 finals from 1999 till 2020
I dunno what else to say about that shyt :yeshrug: I have no clue how that's not enough

like I said, Lebron is the same way ... he completely shut down the East.... there's no way anyone can say he isnt responsible for dominating the same way
I'm trying to meet cats halfway and people still find ways to complain about shyt... same reason why I put the Spurs in here, you cant downplay Spurs greatness because they were in there always with rings to prove it.

you cant logically say Kobe was meh
Lebron was meh
or Duncan is meh
Its just not logically possible due to how much they win
Like if you're constantly there throughout your whole career, then what more can you do? besides winning every ring you encounter like MJ or Bill Russell which puts you god tier
Being consistently there still puts you at the peak of your game throughout your entire career. It would be like someone saying Lebron hasnt been the best player or 1b for years....he's durable and proved he is always there... you cant say "nah people with worse resumes are better" its like that all star game where melo didnt have the hardware on his warmup... melo is an amazing player but he cant be compared to this category because he's just not there... if you are always "there" you are automatically in the discussion.

people are super circumstantial and fanish which is weird to see from grown men
on one hand people say "stockton, cp3, nash, payton, mcgrady, melo, rose, etc" dont have what it takes
but when you debate greatness and people who have actually won and made it ... all that other shyt goes out the window
the same reason you say other cats dont have it, cant be the same reason why cats that actually win are bad too...you cant win and still be a loser, ask patrick ewing the difference between him and hakeem if you dont believe it. You cant be a loser with 5 rings and 7 finals appearances .. if that's considered being a loser, then my whole life is fukked up

Wade and Melo had better teams around them than LeBron did. Wade also had a better coach than the both of them. Also I feel Wade was on a similar level to LeBron after the 05 playoffs anyways. He just kept getting injured.

Kobe has become very underrated

If he had retired after, say, 2012, he would be ranked higher

His last few years of limping around and missing shots left people with a distorted image
Bout the only valid post in this thread

The only player who fears LeBron is Demar DeFrozen.
The idea of Lebron in the minds of his stans doesn’t match the reality of his dominance. Lebron has great all time stats but he also monopolize the basketball. Harden and Russ are basically stats monsters the same way. We can’t say Bron is this dominant playoff performer and he only 3-6 in the finals. 1-3 against his GS rivals, 1-2 against SA rivals and 1-1 against KD in finals. Show me something about his goat case cause I just don’t see it.
