One thing I will say about this album that can be construed as negative is this, though its more about younger fans than the album itself:

Anyone acting like this style of pro-black funk-infused Hip-Hop is something new like The Coup never existed is foolish.

That aside, I truly love this album.

Dude was being sarcastic...

Word I didn't even see the post.

Only in 2015 can an album being layered and deep - enhancing the replay value to a limitless level - be seen as a negative.

Listening and picking up something new every time is one of the best things about albums like this. It's what's gonna make it timeless - the layers and complexity.

There's always Drake for nikkas who like their shyt real shallow, real surface level, and real forgettable after a week. Don't remember the last time I had a desire to go back to any of that dude's albums.

:wow:

As an old head, all I can say is

:blessed:

So much music by his contemporaries is so disposable that it's refreshing to hear an album that you actually need to digest over time to truly appreciate.

So many layers, so tightly themed, so consistent.....absolutely brilliant.

I'm suprised this is a mainstream album. Let's me know this thing of ours is not dead yet.

:salute: to the young man.
