DAMN is right up there with his previous two.

Just because it's looser and less conceptual doesn't mean it isn't as good. I think it's his straight up most fun album to listen to. I have to be in the right frame of mind for TPAB and GKMC. DAMN is just banger after banger, while still having incredible songwriting and high level production.

To me DAMN is the work of a rapper who has mastered the art form and doesn't really need to prove anything. It reminds me of Hov's The Black Album. It's just effortless greatness.

Damn is in my top 10 oat. Masterpiece and much better than GKMC imo.

all these producers reposted the announcement. Kendrick producers have always done that, thats their way of saying "I'm featured on this record". It happened with gkmc, tpab, uu, damn,...

Title gives me late 60s/ early 70s vibes.

Kendrick said he was bored with rap.

I think this is going to be an abstract album that will be polarizing and sonically experimental.

Summer is gonna be fun.

now if you ask me about my personal tastes, the ranking would change (s80 would probably be my #1). But quality wise, when it comes to which album is the best, I'd rank them like that. I think TPAB and DAMN are much better than s80 and gkmc and I'm looking at all metric, musical composition included.

it's aight you can enjoy whathever you want but I strongly believe DAMN is objectively a much better album than GKMC. on a more subjective and personal level I enjoy listening to both equally, but imo damn the superior record quality wise. I'd go as far as to say it's an insult to even compare both.
