What you said about kevin is on point. However the same applies to kdot. That album is all hype i swear i never hear nobody bumpin his. My teenage god son is a hood nikka and never mentions him. My teenage nephew, same deal. My 21 nephew, same deal and THEY SQUARE nikkaS. his so called classic is not getting played like the real bonafide classics did when they dropped. Not sure how old you are but just think back to some bonafide classics of yesteryear. shyt feels nothing like that. ALSO that nikka asap rocky said somethin real intersting inthat flex interview. "We're doin the same venues or bigger" hmm i wonder why. CAUSE THEY FRONTIN WITH KDOT. that nikka aint sold nowhere near that million. He's alledgedly a top hiphop star. And he's touring. But from what i saw he's just doing festivals (that people go to every year) Where's the TDE tour? You know, like the no way out tour or HARD KNOCK LIFE TOUR rr & cash money tour
Wait, so you don't hear anybody bumping Kendrick's album, and neither does your son or two nephews? Well, that settles that, obviously, no one nationwide is listening to the album.

I see nikkas mad cause i told the truth about this nikka that had a deal since 2011 and continued to pretend he was independent . well i dont give a fukk. Look at this quote about this nikka: "Kendrick lamar as said that he grew up on some of the legends in hip-hop like 2Pac, Biggie Smalls, Jay-Z, Nas, Eminem, and DMX. Kendrick Lamar has been gaining comparisons to both Tupac, Eminem, and Nas because of his versatility and ability to pass him emotion through the mic into the listeners ears. One thing that he tries to communicate in his music is authentic, and not being anybody else but himself. This has a lot to do with why he has gained popularity so quickly, and why people rush to book Kendrick Lamar for their events" Lmao, where's the song where kendrick does a GREAT JOB conveying emotion on the level of the nikkas they mentioned him with? Where's the great songs that you gotta feel by this fukk nikka? Plies does that better than kendrick and kendrick should never be mentioned with the greats.

and this is from nikka, that get no props. post kdot's real shyt, his emotional songs, shyt you can feel.

real nikka shyt

I don't consider GKMC a bonifide classic though. I like the album, but I don't feel that it's the Illmatic/Ready To Die/Chronic level album that critics make it out to be. When I say definitive, I mean it's something people can look back and say it's great. It's an album that stands out largely due to the narrative. I don't think that it's the game changing, culture moving album that the three previously mentioned albums are.

I feel you but honestly i dont think it will be looked back on as great AT ALL. Trust me my nikka, though we dont entirely agree, down the road you will side with me on this subject. The stories sound fake as fukk. This nikka telling stories of a bytch whom is 17 in 2011 that is on the track selling p*ssy while listening to BRENDAS GOT A BABY,lmao. My nikka that shyt is fugazi and without interscope funded hype he will totally be forgotten in a matter of years. His album will one of those "i cant believe i used to bump that shyt " type of albums

people are trying to front on kevin hart now because of the success, it's fukking disgusting, i never understood the logic behind not liking someone anymore because they have become successful. kendrick lamar, if not backed by Dr Dre and Interscope, would probably still be a mixtape circuit rapper, horrible comparison.

My nikka i supported kevin hart, went to his most recent concert movie and the previous one. I'm not hating,i just feel he aint shyt. I feel he has done nothing great. Stand ups etc are all meh. I respect him for getting his money but I outlined why he aint shyt and i made perfect sense when i did so.

I didn't feel like doing this but it was needed.
Let's start with Kevin Hart. You have a overrated comic that is supposedly the hottest nikka around.
What has he really done. Mostly wack movie roles,,,2 wack stand ups that hit theaters and some youtube videos.
Got the nerve to mention eddies name in vain, when he is nowhere near that level.
Let's compare his so called run,to other nikkas that had it.

Martin: def comedy jam,the martin show, two funny stand ups (you so crazy, run tell that) that hit theaters and some classic movies (bad boys series, big mommas house, life etc)

Chris rock: (SNL is where i became a fan,cb4,new jack city, the chris rock show, many dope stand ups (bigger blacker etc),hosting awards (but actually doing a great job)

Dave chappelle: His main thing was the chappelle show, but it was so undeniable, that's all we need on him

Eddie Murphy the don: SNL classic sketches,Classic movies for around two decades (beverly hills cop series,48 hours and sequel, coming to america, harlem nights, golden child, trading places, boomerrang, nutty professor,dr dolittle, life, shrek)
Stand ups (delirious,RAW)

What has Kevin really done that will talked about years from now? NOTHIN AT ALL

Agree with the premise. Both very good at what they do but they are in an elevated position due to a lack of competition and having the right hustle, work ethic and people around them.

Kevin's a hustler no doubt. And the way Kendrick got the machine behind him was something

You probably just don't fit in with this generation of music and comedy. Different tastes for different folks.

Asap claimed to be doing the same venues or bigger than kdot, yet he's sold half the records soundscan. Fans of both,is this true? If so,it's kind of weird
