first time back in this thread in a minute, not feeling all this hate "Real" getting. that's one of my favorite tracks on there, that Sing For Me/Dying of Thirst/Real trifecta was a perfect ending to the story, capped the shyt off beautifully.

I have a feeling this album is gonna be K. Dot's gift and a curse..

It'll be a gift because he delivered a critically acclaimed hip-hop album that is getting LOVE from ALL media...he showed that you can still be yourself and deliver a self-conscious album in a major label and STILL show that good quality hip-hop music can STILL sell in this day of age..as long as u have good music and the fan base to back it up.

However, it will be his curse cuz his next album is needs to be good if not BETTER then his previous one..because if it isn't...the hip-hop fans WILL turn on him and say that he fall off...and then nikkas are gonna go around and say "SEE I TOLD U THAT nikka WAS WACK!"

Either way...I love the debates this album has sparked...that's hip-hop for ya...

Personal classic and jigga second best album to me after reasonable doubt

This American Gangsta classic talk seriously needs to stop.

Its getting out of hand.

Notice how people jump on the bandwagon and never actually say WHICH SONGS they feel are classics?

If something is a classic then you would hear people actually name specific tracks more often.

But it seems people are getting far too infatuated with the fact that it was a concept album that was a follow up and improvement from Kingdom Come.

But you really mean to tell me there are classic songs besides Roc Boys and Blue Magic? Really?

That sample on Money Trees :wow:
Jay Rock verse :wow:

Album is pure flames. took off real and put on cartoons and cereal tho and made sing about the the last song. way more cohesive.

I'm saying its a classic because of all the songs...I love the storytelling and layout of the album...I can forgive blue magic, but the rest is amazing...people call blueprint a classic but that shyt had at least three mediocre to horrible songs..what is bad on the album? Yes hello Brooklyn sounds out of place because of the beat but the lyrics make up for it...the concept of the album and the songs like roc boys, say hello, pray, success and fallin are all flawless. The idea that blueprint as a whole album is better than American gangster is ridiculous to be honest
