The album is dope.. I put alot of my peoples on to this guy and its good to see that good hip hop can still sell. Hopefully Kendrick can re-flame the torch for these young cats so we can have more actually putting in work in putting out quality albums and less nikkas trying to be like Chief Keef or Lil B

Man I got issues I'm dealing with in life. This album dropping and listening to it has been one of the best moments (apart from being with my son) in a long ass time. It legit puts me in a better mood just knowing I can bump this whenever I want to.

This album is really solid . I went old school and gave it a fresh listen upon purchase . No download. No thread perusing . No review reading . No nothing.
I still have to give it a few more spins. But on the first couple of listens I really like the way it flows . I like the way songs toward the end become longer and more grandiose then flow into Compton .
His voice is unique . And surprisingly I think the use of filters and pitch manipulation on the vocals is actually quite effective , given that's something I don't usually favor .
Love the way MC Eiht comes in as the beat gets that mid 90s vibe.
There's a lot to listen to here . A lot to sink your teeth into.
