Where was the outrage about Lil' Wayne not being the Halftime Performer in 2013? His work would have been more relevant then, plus

This.

That 2013 shyt ainā€™t the valid argument you think it is. Dre is the first hip hop act to headline a Super Bowl half time show. He kicked the door down and made it possible for Wayne to even be in the discussion

The NFL had a full scale back of PG acts after the Janet Jackson incident which lasted for years. Roc Nation was brought on board to attract younger, ā€œurbanā€ viewers after the Kap debacle.

Not to mention, beyonce headlined in New Orleans. We all should know beyonce has NOLA roots

Jay was TRYING to not have 50 perform but Eminem stood up for him and said he wasn't gonna do it without 50. And u think them white folks was gonna let someone like Eminem not perform over Jay's personal issue? Hell nah. But yea. 50 performed cause of Eminem's loyalty.
So Jay z doesnā€™t decide who performs then

This thread is a hilarious mix of Drake stans, fans of 90s rappers who hate Jay and are increasingly alarmed by Kendrick surpassing their GOATs on the consensus lists and people who consume a lot of YouTube content that has an insidious electronic beat, black and white imagery and an angry fast talking voice exposing the truths that the sheeple are too blind to see.

NOLA or not, putting wayne on that stage is a risk. for multiple reasons. the NFL has shown itself to be one of the most risk-averse corporate entities on this planet. even when it looks like they're embracing change, said change does not come without numerous, rigorous rounds of behind-the-scenes cost analysis and risk assessment attached to it.

they do not give a fukk about culture. not one single fukk. they give a fukk about profit margins. that is WHY they needed to hire someone like jay z in the first place.

and even then... if you honestly think jay z is telling the the NFL what to do, you're a fukking idiot (not you specifically... literally anyone who believes that lol).

the other thing the NFL has shown... they don't get bullied. they bully. try that "check in or else" shyt with roger and jerruh if you want. :laff:
some of these mental midget rappers really aint gonna be happy until we're back to aerosmith performing at halftime, and they cant get into shyt with a league logo attached to it. i promise you, if it comes to it the league will pivot right back and not shed a single tear.

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
J Lo and Shakiraā€™s connections to Miami stronger than Pitbull and Flo Ridaā€™s?
Nope which was confusing as fukk. I guess they wanted women singers that year rather than rappers. I'm pretty sure Noone would care if they picked singers for the NO show instead of a rapper. But the fact that they picked a rapper and not the biggest and most influential rapper from that city rubbed people the wrong way. Especially since it feels like it's a motive behind it. @Sad Bunny how u feel about this my guy? Lol.

They should go back to pop artists imo. Rap nikkas too corny these days. Too much conflict within the industry. Or get someone like Busta or Missy.
