This is what I don't like about "moments", any objectivity goes out the window. For whatever the length of time this lasts, he will have no accountability or be bound by any standards.

What I mean is, for quite a while the superbowl has been about entertainment, a party vibe. To a certain degree, music that makes you get up and move. That was/is the standard. But since Kendrick is having this "moment" he is beyond criticism, objectivity, and common sense observation. Suddenly, the standard isn't the standard anymore and we're getting breakdowns about deeper meanings and symbolism?

Why is it that his performance just can't be...bad? Mid? Not up to the previously established standards?

Ironically, by making everything he does so untouchable you're setting him up for a bigger fall.

You cant tell people with how they feel about it not everyone is going to be on board with something and that’s ok me personally I thought it was a great Super Bowl performance but definitely not the best ever. With all the conversation no matter good or bad it just makes him more visible he’s going to possibly get more people intrigued to his music and people that could give a fukk less. Either way it’s a win for him and adds to his legacy especially now it being the most watched Super Bowl ever.

Symbolism is something kendrick has been doing for years. He was not going to turn that aspect off for the super bowl. People say he make protest music and nobody really listen to his music anyway. All kendrick could do was go out there and do what he do and be himself.

Lol at this reverse psychology bullshyt:mjlol:......you ain't fooling nobody with these elementary level manipulation tactics:dead:

You hated on everything Kendrick did this past year. You couldn't even bring yourself to give NLU props even though it was clearly genius right out the gate. You were absolutely SEETHING on may 4 2024. Stop the frontin.

Again, Cole fan here

This is so gawd damn awkward now. What is he even doing on this?

I'm serious, what the fukk is he even talking about?

OV ho???

What the hell?

You nikkas better not hype up this mess.

I can't explain how bad this is and it kinda confirms that this is more about everybody hating Drake than Kendrick doing anything remarkable.

Yall dudes are so weird and defensive when it comes to Kendrick, I don’t get it. It’s like seeing something negative about him causes yall physical pain :wtf:

It was a weak ass performance, but that’s ok…it happens, it’s not the end of the world.

The fact that Gelo performing tweaker for 15 mins would have been more entertaining…is driving yall crazy.
Butthurt Drake fans just keep exposing themselves
:wow:

In more ways than one

It is one thing not to like it, or to not think it was the best thing ever, but we can not ignore all of the posters that were claiming it was a dud, horrible and garbage.

Okay, you dont like it or even may hate it, well do not be surprised when you are in the extreme minority because most people at the very least liked it. You can have your opinions, just know that your opinions are not widely shared.

Pretty good performance

I was watching it at a bar full CaCs at this hotel I was at in florida and the sound wasnt up so I couldnt tell if it was vibing. But watching it back online that was pretty well done. Using Sam Jackson to just kinda poke fun at the whole spectacle and him having to button on was a nice touch even if it went over people's heads.
Honestly its aging well, not mad at it
