Shut upThis is what I don't like about "moments", any objectivity goes out the window. For whatever the length of time this lasts, he will have no accountability or be bound by any standards.
What I mean is, for quite a while the superbowl has been about entertainment, a party vibe. To a certain degree, music that makes you get up and move. That was/is the standard. But since Kendrick is having this "moment" he is beyond criticism, objectivity, and common sense observation. Suddenly, the standard isn't the standard anymore and we're getting breakdowns about deeper meanings and symbolism?
Why is it that his performance just can't be...bad? Mid? Not up to the previously established standards?
Ironically, by making everything he does so untouchable you're setting him up for a bigger fall.
