I thought this was a good point, but what I think Nye failed to realize is this: None of these questions ultimately matter when a pocket of the population believes in MAGIC, and everything can be explained, at least in their minds, by MAGIC. How did a few unskilled men build a structurally sound 100 ft boat? Magic. How did kangaroos get from the supposed landing place of the ark to the secluded part of the world they reside now? Miracles. Why is there only one formation like the grand canyon if there was a world wide flood? It was God's will.

I think creationists get so caught up in trying to poke holes in evolution and big bang cosmology, that they forget that doing so doesn't make their hypothesis any more credible.

Even though I never been to Church in my life
I can't argue that if you follow God's commandments life would be Great
how can possible say anything different

Every civilization that has ever existed believes in God in sort of a fashion
thats enough witnesses for me to have to take it into consideration
every civilization has had the same story of the savior being born
all this stories and god relate to science, because a lot of them are connected to the stars and alignments are planets

Uhh..yes it should be overlooked just like every other major work of fiction totes around by each major religion, respectively, is overlooked when it comes to teaching our children here in America. It has no fukking place in the classroom and the "morals" and shyt can just as readily be learned by reading Anansi's tales as they could reading that shyt. Okay post the vid. I'm more inclined to believe that rather than people around the world experienced the same event, that ... oh I don't know, maybe flooding occurs in many places around the world? So PEOPLE were just reporting a secluded event and attributed it to their god. So maybe a flood that happens in mesopotamia is similar to one that happens in india ... but they aren't the SAME flood. Seems a lot more reasonable to me

But if you have proof of a worldwide flood, and by the way, you'd be the first, then please feel free to post said proof.
