Honestly, if anyone says they saw this coming from Kawhi, you know they didn't watch basketball...or at least didn't know the game. The system player comments were legit at the time, because Pop's system maximized his gifts while hiding his flaws. He had no handle, no jumper, couldn't create his own shot, wasn't a great passer. All he could do was play d and read the floor. He wasn't even a great finisher. He developed all of that during the seasons, which is amazing.

His handle still isn't the greatest but it's easily sufficient enough for him to get anywhere he wants to on the floor. I'm amazed

What?! The only person on that list that has an argument with kawhi is KD. Westbrook is not efficient (and I Stan him), Harden is basically Westbrook that takes advantages of calls and is slightly better at getting his teammates involved, yet less athletic. God Steph of last year 2015-2016 that's iffy, but he broke down in the playoffs a bit. Kawhi just seems to have ice for blood and holds it down on an elite level on both ends. Only Bron can say that.

Fixed. KD ain't prove it yet either. Kawhi is a champion and finals MVP. Hell, the enigma with Kawhi is that although he doesn't get as much fanfare he's probably the most feared opponent for KD, Bron, etc in the league. With his improving skills I think more people will take notice and give Kawhi his props.

31.2/6/3.8 & 2 steals per game on 55/48/97% shooting

:whoo::whoo::whoo:

Spurs implanted some kind of chip in this nikka. His progression as a player from defensive specialist to top 5 player in the league with no significant flaws is inexplicable. I know this dude works his ass off, but Jesus.

You think Pacers regret the draft day trade for George Hill.

I love this JJ Redikk quote about Kawhi.... lets you know how relentless and obsessive Kawhi is:

“More than his length, his strength, his quickness, that mother‑‑‑‑‑‑ is so . . . locked . . . in…” Redikk said. “I have no idea what scouting report they give him, but he knows every play, and he takes no breaks.”

nikka the real life Michael Myers/Jason Vorhees/Terminator :damn:

He shoots like he has rigamortis. Which I used to think was a bad thing but I've learned is a good thing watching him. His shot looks the exact same at all times. That's work. No moving parts. Just straight up and down. The dudes got next. At this point he's the most complete player in the game next to KD imo

Only reason to hate on Kawhi now is just out of pure jealousy that my team didn't get him :mjcry:

My best friend is a spurs fan and he's been telling me about kawhi for years. Just rubbing him in my face. Knowing that he was right eats me up :mjcry:

But gahdamn that kid is fukking nice. Only kid who has what it takes...:mjcry:

Once Kawhi's offensive game reaches its peak I'm thinking he'll be the best in the league for that time if not 1B on that list. Defensively he's the player that evokes the most fear on the perimeter but once his offensive game is truly at that same level he'll be unfukkwitable.
