I forgot to add in the extra quotes I oosted(hence me saying y’all) but the NCAA and everything after was mostly directed at you
Who care what quotes you added. You have folks in the HOF based on what they did in the NCAA. Kareem was in the GOAT while in college.

You don't become the GOAT solely on what you did in the pros. I would never take MJ's body of work in college from him. Yall do that to Kareem in order to elevate MJ up to his level...and he's still short.

It is erasing. Being the GOAt didnt start in thr NBA. And yes...finals apps count. Youre just labeling things in the manner that you are ti disgard points (ie kareem fans grasping...)

Aint no straws here exepct the ones you decided to make.
Being the GOAT didn't start. But it is pretty much solely composed of ur performance in the best basketball league in the world.

Negro, you mfs have to resort to shyt like NCAA titles To help Kareem. So yes u grawsping

Me and others just calling this shyt out

But whatever this just gon go in circles:russell:

Even WITHOUT the NCAA, Kareem had more accolades. I don't get it.

Again...you're in the job of erasing and then labeling niqqas in order to exalt someone. Like we are supposed to ignore that the NCAA made a rule just to stop Kareem's dominance.

You chose to ignore what he did there.

If everyone just gonna go in circles then might as well base it off rings, period.

Go win 12+ rings or :umad::camby:

Fukk a oh players evolved or a rules change or competition is tougher. Its who won the most chips during their era.

:troll:

But to really end a goat debate, I wouldn't be mad at counting strictly rings.

A handful of Celtics and Robert Horry closer to goat than our favorite players lol :yeshrug:

Sorry MJ, shoulda 3peated two more times:ufdup:

I doubt anybody in this thread has seen Kareem play, nikkas is parrots. How the fukk you gonna call someone a GOAT that you saw a few black and white YouTube clips on when they were in their prime :mjlol:

Clown shyt...

Can’t hate on the resume but I haven’t seen him play enough to say he is better or worse than anybody else. Which is why I speak on players I’ve actually watched play

My tier 1 no order is:
Wilt, Jordan, Bron, Kareem

Those are the 4 best of their respective eras and probably 4 of the most astonishing players to play

I don’t see anybody approaching this except MAYBE KD, who’s game could age very well even while being older. He likely never will be the best player due to age and how long Bron’s career been going, but hey :manny:

what numbers would a 20 yr old kareem put up in todays game?
Bigs would be a lot more physically able to match up with dude than back when, but there’s not a lot of 5s who are both physically and skillfully adept defensively. Like Mo Bamba (who is an actual godsend genetically) hasn’t even played and he might already be one of the best center defenders. Smart and long.

Magic had Bird, Wilt had Russell, Shaq had Kobe/Duncan... MJ stood alone.
I like how you say this and don’t mention Kareem’s peer. (He had none)

I agree with this, but based on your vantage point you personally cannot call anyone the greatest player of all time.

That's not true, Kareem had peers at his position.

Bill Walton, Bob McAdoo, Moses Malone were all on his level during the 70's. Moses used to give Kareem that work

Walton played two seasons. He would have been had he stayed healthy.

McAdoo was not a peer.

Moses got in during Kareem’s post-prime. (From like ‘82 onward)

Kareem was the best player in the NBA for the 1970s. That’s not up for debate.

McAdoo was not a peer

Moses got in Kareem post-prime.

Kareem was the best player in the NBA for the 1970s. That’s not even up for debate.
Walton swept Kareem during Kareem's MVP season in 1977. He was level with him until injuries hit

Mac racked up 3 scoring titles, 5 All Star appearances, and a MVP during the 70's. He was definitely a peer

Moses was digging in Kareem's chest even when he was in Houston.

Kareem ain't win jack during the 70's in a league filled with coke heads. His teams in LA went nowhere until Magic came along:yeshrug:. Missed the playoffs twice in his prime during the 70's, got swept during a MVP year, and had another season end in the 1st round
