While Bron is the GOAT to me, I can make a case for like 7 players outside of Bron including Hakeem, Shaq and Kareem.

Walton swept Kareem during Kareem's MVP season in 1977. He was level with him until injuries hit

Mac racked up 3 scoring titles, 5 All Star appearances, and a MVP during the 70's. He was definitely a peer

Moses was digging in Kareem's chest even when he was in Houston.

Kareem ain't win jack during the 70's in a league filled with coke heads. His teams in LA went nowhere until Magic came along:yeshrug:. Missed the playoffs twice in his prime during the 70's, got swept during a MVP year, and had another season end in the 1st round
:wtf: ain’t won shid in the 70s?
Kareem, Oscar, Bobby Dandridge won in 1971 with the Bucks

You don't become the GOAT solely on what you did in the pros.

So how the fukk is Lebron in the GOAT convo since he never even played in college? Nikkas just go through every narrative to knock Jordan down a peg. So college has to be added huh? We might as well rearrange the whole top 10 based on that.Jordan was decided as GOAT when he won 6 rings and 6 finals MVPs. You harping on college, as if Kareem didn’t have the greatest point guard of all time win 3 FMVPS in the middle of that lakers run. Where as Jordan had 2 sets of three peats and was the best player every series the most times of any player. Bottom line period

I was referring to his years in LA and his career during the mid to late 70's in his prime. I know he got one with a stacked Bucks team in 71

Kareem never won anything when he ain't have a hall of fame PG on his side:hubie:

I doubt anybody in this thread has seen Kareem play, nikkas is parrots. How the fukk you gonna call someone a GOAT that you saw a few black and white YouTube clips on when they were in their prime :mjlol:

Clown shyt...

Can’t hate on the resume but I haven’t seen him play enough to say he is better or worse than anybody else. Which is why I speak on players I’ve actually watched play
I watched him at the tail end of his career. Also I’m a student of the game so I watched dozens of his biggest games on YouTube & ESPN. Dude was a beast. That hook shot translates easy in this ERA

Did I bring up Bron? Why the fukk you asking ME about shyt I never said?

MJ won sox rings, so did Kareem who also beat the teams that smacked MJ around while playing in a tougher era. Damn near all the teams that won during his time needed HOF players as trammates. I dont get how having Magic is a slight. The Lakers squads he was on would smack every single team the Bulls faced...which includes the malone/Stockton teams MJ faced twice that Kareem and them beat years prior and needed the great teams of the 80s to retire and watered down 90s to FINALLY manage to make it to the finals.

And who won those finals MVPs for those 4 out of the 5 he won in the 80s :stopitslime:Yea Stacked teams smacking Jordan around, as if Jordan had the GOAT PG and James worthy on his team during those times right? :stopitslime: there were 5 hall of famers on some of those Lakers squads GTOFH Kareem beat “better competition than Mj” with a team that was stacked enough to compete that decade. Jordan didn’t have that untill late that decade.

And :stopitslime:at “the lakers would smack every team the bulls faced”. shyt I would hope they would with 5 damn HOF players, including the GOAT Pg and I can’t stress this enough cause nikkas acting like Magic wasn’t miles ahead of every teammate Jordan had including Scottie.

Not even trying to disrespect Kareem either, but he is not greater than jordan.

Kareem should have won finals MVP when Magic won it in 80. He was averaging 33 ppg until he got hurt in game 5 and they ended up giving it to Magic. You holding it against Kareem as if the league good teams wasnt full of stacked HOF laden teams. The friggen sixers had a 10 time first team defender in Bobby Jones, Dr. J and Moses Malone. The celtics couldnt stop Bobby Jones, so they had to get HOF Dennis johnson in order to compete vs them. We dont even have to go into the Celtics. Great teams back then were friggen stacked. THUS....why I said they played tougher teams in Kareem’s era. You proved my point

And those 5 teams MJ faced in the Finals aint shyt compared to the 80s squads.

But that’s MY point. What was the Chicago Bulls compared to some of those teams in the 80s?:stopitslime:you talking about “But but Kareem beat better competition” as if his teams weren’t stacked and had the GOAT point guard that ever lived that was the best player the majority of those championships Kareem won in the 80s. Do I take it away from kareem? No I don’t, but be real here. Compare the 80s bulls to the 80s lakers :stopitslime:like wtf you even talking about. Kareem had stacked and legendary talent to compete with stacked and legendary talent. Jordan didn’t. In the early 90s. Jordan three peated with Scottie as the only hall of famer by his side:stopitslime:and Scottie didn’t win 3 FMVPS and is considered the GOAT of his position either

I think Kareem has an interesting perspective.

I think he's the greatest but I think he makes a great point.

In the last 4-5 years, damn near zero defense has been allowed with how the games are called so all the numbers are inflated, scrubs will drop 60 points and you won’t hear from them again

Very difficult to compare players from different eras
