2 days before Biden dropped out, he proposed implementing rent control and capping increases at 5%. Is this still a part of the plan??!
Depends, but if housing prices decrease & property values are assessed lower, most states/city municipalities might still adjust the property tax rate higher in order to make up for the lost revenue anyway.

This is a troll post. The Senate was 50/50 split with Manchin and Sinema tanking legislature, who by the way, are no longer Democrats. Anyone who follows politics even a little bit knows that and everyone also knows that the Democratic Party is a large tent which makes it a little bit harder to keep everyone on the same page.

They should be forced to sell. They are single FAMILY homes, not single CORPORATE/BUSINESS investments for stockholders/rich people.
And have a fallback plan too for the price gouging on rentals/apartments.
Eliminate all corporate loopholes for scamming and getting out of taxpaying (won't happen)
Eliminate the cap on Social Security. How the fukk does someone making 160k pay the same in Social Security as someone making a million a year? If it's capped at 6% up to 160k, that same 6% should apply to everyone above 160k, not stop at it.

They need to also stop building single family housing homes and focus on multiple family homes that make more use of the limited space a lot of major cities have. I have family in Louisiana and they live in New Orleans been there for generations and went back after staying with us in California after Katrina and they have a shotgun house which makes more usage of the limited land that New Orleans has. LA and San Francisco could use more homes like that
