Donald Harris's maternal grandfather - no pictures online, but considering his wife and daughter's complexion and features pretty much match, as well as looking at the names of his own parents, I'm guessing he was probably 1/2 Black and 1/2 Irish.

Her grandparents were Patrick Fenegon (born in Jamaica in 1833), Mary Fenegon (born in Jamaica in 1838), John Allen (birthplace unknown in 1845), and Joanna Elizabeth Moses (born in Jamaica in 1868, daughter of Peter Moses who was born in Jamaica in 1820).

The first Indians arrived in Jamaica in 1845, and no one in Harris's genology has an Indian name or an Indian birthplace listed. Unless the Indians in question were named "Harris", "Brown", "Watson", "Moses", and "Fenegan" and lied about their place of birth, then no, she's not Indian.

While I agree policy should be the focus, they're trying to keep her from Obama'ing her way to the WH while not really doing anything just because she's pandering to Black America, who regularly decide elections, and they're falling for it AGAIN. So of Donald Harris's 8 great-grandparents, 6 of them were born in Jamaica before a single Indian was on the island, 1 of them was born in Ireland, and 1 is unknown.

Exactly how has she been "pandering" to Black America?


The swing states that matter are Arizona (4% black), Nevada (9% black), Wisconsin (6% black), Michigan (13% Black), Pennsylvania (11% Black), and Georgia (30% Black).

Explain how "pandering" to Black America will decide this election with those demographics. If Black Americans don't vote then they could cost her the election, but they certainly can't win her the election without her attracting far larger numbers of predominantly white votes.

Ngl, as someone who has sat this out as the most pointless deflection so I never bothered checking anything. Knowing she had one Indian and one Jamaican parent, I just assumed this was just the same “half don’t count” pointless talk but seeing since 99.5% of Jamaicans are black (yes I know I’m exaggerating). But seeing this video it’s obvious she’s mostly Indian. Coolie or otherwise.

Still, this remains a pointless debate that just deflects and sucks time from the real debates that should be happening. She obviously feels a real attachment to the Black in her causing her to go to an HBCU and pledge a Black sorority. You wanna argue she’s anti-Black, fine call her a c00n, but stop pretending there’s no Black in this woman and that she hasn’t always acknowledged it.
