No, what's dumb is saying why would you watch someone play video games instead of doing it yourself

99% of people watching video game streams are also playing video games.

That's the dumbest fukking retort I've ever read.

Videogames are an active form of entertainment. Watching a stream is passive.

You would have been better off comparing to porn instead of professional sports.
How is that a dumb retort and how is the distinction between active and passive a rebuttal to it? :mjlol:

Kai makes streaming seem really fun and much respect to him for actually getting through the game. Ninja was hating on him hard so I’m happy :russ: fukkk that blue haired fakkit. However he is not the first person to do themed or long plays on stream but he definitely has the audience to do it really big. There is one cat that streams ff7 as a shinra exec and his background is all on theme too :pachaha:he’s dope and funny af but don’t have a fraction of the exposure. The promo video is a great touch tho

Will be interesting to see if he finishes because this time people can’t give him tips for the bosses

He brings in a lot of viewers and attention to their products from people who otherwise wouldn't be interested. No mystery why they sent him that statue as he made them 10000x much more money than what that statue was worth. Hope we get that remaster, the games popularity about to be back up with the younger crowd
