This man right here.

He says his team got the breaks beat off them, but since a black coach won he can still be somewhat satisfied.

Exactly...where's....the "racial superiority" in that statement? :what:

I too was satisfied for the same reason they beat my school, knowing that
1. there are only 6 black head coaches in college football
2. and hopefully schools will see the value in us.

Of course....you'll pervert that as "racial superiority."

youre white you won't understand.i'll try to explain it to you tho...
sometimes it's bigger than a "team" cause it means more than just a game. there are people in positions of power in sports (GMs, ADs, owners, etc) who think a man can't coach or play a certain position cause of his skin. so when he succeeds even against our own team we as black people don't mind because he's proving those people wrong thus making it a little bit easier (hopefully) for other blacks out there to get in that position. blacks gotta fight more for certain things than whites do. hence why you don't fully and easily get it.

But see it's not though, it's not bigger than a game because it is just a game.

Look for your civil justice in more meaningful areas.

To be cool with your team getting crushed because you had the same ancestry as the coach who did it, too much for me. That's when you're placing way too much focus on race

Well then you both put way too much focus on race.

So if the Jets get to the Super Bowl and lose to the 49ers, you gonna be okay with it because a black QB was the one who did it you?

So I'm WRONG for finding a problem with there being only 6 black head coaches out of 140 + division 1 schools and finding satisfaction in one overcoming that obstacle?

Knowing that I have friends in the college ranks who are coaching and are brilliant....i'm wrong for thinking that their color shouldn't matter yet know it's obvious a problem to schools?

:heh:

That's "too much focus on race?"

Wow....

usually i would agree with it's just a game but not when it comes to the job they are applying for. it makes it a meaningful area. this is the same as thinking a brotha can't be a ceo at a fortune 500 cause he's black. yea he can be a janitor and a mailboy and paper pusher but they don't want to see him be on top of the totem pole and in charge of others. so there's more to it than just a game.
and i don't blame you for not getting it, a lot of white people don't. you never had to kick down the door to anything because the color of your skin.

When you're cool with your team getting it's ass kicked because the guy doing it is the same color as you, yep.

Too much focus.

It would be like me being okay with the 49ers losing if we get to to the SB to the Pats because they have a lot of white players in skill positions.

Like hey at least Welker beat us, he's really showing us white people can play WR!!!

Where do droves of black people celebrate black sports failures in droves like that?

Exactly what did you counter in MY statement with that response?

In sports these things take care of themselves. The leashes on AD's GMs, coaches, talent evaluators is so short that if they're making bad decisions on coaches/players based off of race they will lose their job. Some other team will end up with the Cam/Kaep/RG3/Wilsons of the world and they'll be stuck with the Cassels of the world.

This isn't true in other professions or in other areas of life, but I think this gets largely overblown in sports. No doubt there is racism there, but again overblown.

I never said anyone celebrated it, i`m replying to exactly what Jadillac said word for word. That's he's okay with his team getting smacked because the coach doing it was black.

And I get your point of there is only so few of them, but I still don't think it's a valid point. Like I said, if we get to the SB and Welker scores the game winning TD you think i`m gonna be okay with that because he is white and it's some great victory for white people.

Get fukking real. Like I said before, too much focus on race. To me sports is sports I don't look for social motivation in sports.

And Jadallic said nothing that reflected your initial "racial superiority" bs you stated earlier.

You get my point there's so few of them, but you want the point to stop there and AGAIN want to think its tied to racial superiority.

And yes....I do think it's a victory for black people "to break the coaching glass ceiling." Somehow, that sounds like "racial superiority" to you. It's a victory for a next level of achievement. Pervert that how your perverted mind seems fit.

IF you want to compare that to your obviously dumbed down " Welker scores the game winning TD you think i`m gonna be okay with that because he is white and it's some great victory for white people" be my guest, since that is the knee jerk, knuckle dragging thinking those white folks who you talk about that boo black athletes at sporting events.

Again....black folks don't SHARE that mentality. That's something white folks have patented. You don't see that with black majority fans.
