Aaron Brooks was kind of like Romo. Just more inconsistent and he had low Football IQ.

Again. I acknowledged that racism does exist in sports. My argument is it gets overblown when discussing sports.

This it's bigger than football argument, you comparing it to the regular business world and people trying to break through and become CEOs is what I'm talking about. There's no Rooney rule for CEO positions. The racism and bullshyt people gotta deal with everyday is way worse. Trying to make analogies and tie the two together is weak.

Realistically sports is about as pure as it's going to get. Compared to other areas it's one of the few places where your production carries more weight over who you know, what you look like, or where you came from. Sports one of the rare areas in this country where you see minorities regularly making money hand over fist. Are there still some barriers? Yes, nothing is perfect. Comparing the struggle black QBs or black coaching candidates go through...to what regular dudes go through? :stopitslime:

It just gets old always trying to see people use sports as a chance to hop up on their soapbox and talk about racial issues.

This is some real stupid white boy shyt.

"I acknowledged that racism does exist in sports" but "I want you to stop talking about its existence to a certain point"

:heh:

because Kaep needs to work on being under center. Who cares if the pistol is old. So is the I formation. It's working and will continue to work, not just because of the formation, but because of the masterminds behind the offense. They know how to maximize the offensive potential. Plus Frank Gore asks out of the lineup like every other play so we might as well keep him fresh
thing is, one great game against the packers doesnt discount that he hasnt really been able to run like that against rams dolphins or even cards...and our backs also had problems running out of that formation...that can hurt us against the falcons if we abuse that option too much imo. Im not even worried about long term right now because the goal is to win two games now.

fair enough tho, I just hope we keep shyt balanced. everything is good in moderation.

but last thing Id want to see in the future...is kaep busting out running on 3rd downs and getting bottled up, when he could maybe be more patient and complete the pass instead.

Kaep made more reads on passing plays than Matt Schaub did last weekend.

He'll be alright.

Good to see people with a brain notice this.

It's like I hope & pray Atlanta goes overboard trying to scheme and gameplan for the read option stuff, because that`ll just make it easier for Kaep to beat them with his arm, which he has shown many times he can do to teams

sure but you are comparing one game's worth here. terribly small sample size.

Im not saying he will run before pass, what Im saying is that I want him to be a pass QB most and foremost. he was totally flabbergasted against Seattle which gave him no room to run and covered WRs well, and hes had rough patches against STL, MIA and AZ. not to mention those 3 (or was it 4) 3andouts against the pats when they tied the game.

those are concerning me, although they do speak more as a whole about the offense, but still.

Atlanta couldn't handle Cam who had I think almost 800 yards of offense on them in two games. They could barely handle Russell. They're not great against qbs that can run.

You guys are in good shape with Colin.

 You stay with the :whoa::whoa::whoa: regarding any positivity with your 49ers. Y'all could be holding the Lombardi at the end of the year and you'll be like, "Yeah, but look at these Pro Football Focus stats about when there's a certain percentage of linebackers from colleges based in the Northeast United States. I'll admit we did alright today but can we do it again next year?" But maybe I have you confused with another poster.

I'm the same way with the Chargers but they've proven time and time again that they ain't shyt. fukk this thread and any fan that roots for a successful franchise. Yes, I'm mad.
