Ha and it's not even close.

Whoa was just a rip off off of ha and it didn't carry the same culture shock /breaking down doors weight that ha did.

Ha put people onto an entirely new sound and culture in the mainstream and launched one of the most successful hop hop labels of all time at the same time.

What he saying yo I feel like you could use this phrase towards a snitch, you broke for them people and had to hit the road lol

:heh: basically saying when you don't have any money, you're mad and agitated.

Like compare the next bar:

"when you broke, you drove, ha.
When you paid, you got beaucoup places to go, ha!"

Really a double entendre, there. Never noticed it till I typed it out. Amazing. :russ:

Contrast another set of classic bars from this classic album:

"Now, say I'm in a room with a bytch, and the ho don' wan' fukk.
Like a man, I'ma beat my meat and get my fukkin' nut! Fa sho!
She gone be drove, then!
And I'ma cut the TV off and go to sleep on that ho, then! "

hmmm I thought DMX did it first in ruff riders anthem with "WHAT" :jbhmm:

Nah, DMX was using "WHAT" at the end of bars on Ruff Ryders Anthem as just an overly loud adlib.

Those other songs (including Ha) were integrating the song title phrases as part of the sentence structures of their bars.

is there a "What" at the end of every single bar outside of the hook yes or no?
Since you're too stupid to get it,i guess i'll explain further.
In WHOA and HA,ha and woah are operative words to the actual verses.
For instance in WOAH he's consistently saying that something is "like woah" , "bad bytch uptown like woah" etc

In "ha" he's constantly asking questions using ha/huh
"
"Your face was on the news last night ha
You the one that robbed them little dudes out they shoes last night ha
You don't go in the projects when it's dark ha
You claim you thug and you ain't got no heart ha
You came in the Nolia on new years eve ha
You got stuck in that bytch and couldn't leave ha
It was hard for youto breathe ha"

In RRanthem, the "what" is just a space feeler and not connected at all to what he's saying in his verses. It's just a chant

400 Degreez is so classic. What I miss about them old CMR albums were the skits man. Them skits were legit hilarious and about a minute or two comedy sketches.

Never really liked Ha outside of the hook which is nice. I remember one of my older cousins taking me & my brother on a road trip to a Cleveland Browns game since he’s a huge fan. After the game they got me in this club & Whoa just dropped. The place went nuts & played it like 10 times with the people doing their own adlibs with Whoa ending it. shyt was wild

thankyou for expressing the answer in a civil manner instead of being a dikkk like the other dude. I genuinely didnt get the comparison and got insulted.. all three songs had a word at the end of every bar

I still feel like the structure is similar but I see what you mean
