Nah you trippin. Boyd Crowder was a star as soon as he debut. He just blew everyone else off the screen in every scene. Him and Raylen played off of one another wonderfully and it felt like they actually knew each other their whole life. This villain is just trash. He's not even smart with his crimes and just hiding behind his lawyer. Boyd was way too smart and had me cheering for him and actually pissed at Raylen more than a few times.
Goggins kills just about every role he plays. He already has two classic TV characters. Shane Vendrell and Boyd Crowder.
Raylen's daughter is seriously having me consider quitting this show. Her voice is torture and she's just a shyt head. Dad's a US Marshall and she's stupid enough to not only talk to a stranger, she's cozying up with him in the lobby b/c he said he knows my dad...."They called you chicken fat?" bytch really? Raylen needs to stuff her ass in a box and send her to a boarding school.
Nothing you stated disputed what I said. Season 1 was regarded as the weak point in this series. where I remember people outright recommending that you skip the majority of it if you were tuning into the series late. It's great that ya'll enjoyed Boyd's character but that doesn't make what I said any less true.

For the record, I'm not disagreeing with the criticisms ya'll have here for this show. I'm just stating Season 1 needed time to find it's footing too. It's only been 3 episodes into this one.

True. Season 1 needed work but I saw the potential after the first few episodes. I didn't care for Arlo and a few other characters but for the most part it was pretty good for what it was. I just know I didn't hate any other character as much as I do Raylen's daughter and the main threat just isn't doing anything for me but like you said I'll give it time though and see if it can get it's footing.

The first episode started off with Raylan following through on his threat to kill a guy if he didn't leave the state in 24 hours. I was hooked from the beginning. The first season had more villain-of-the-week stuff, but that never bothered me because the dialogue and story was always sharp

We doing these Albanians like Liam Neeson, baby. Breaking legs, shooting em in the back while they running away and putting them in the dirt. My old Albanian supervisor, Emir, would love this :banderas:

He'd be like "theeese mothafukkas are getting what they deserve." He fukking cried watching Taken. :dead: And he'd die laughing at these Albanian accents.

I'm really losing interest in this. the first two episodes were good and the last two have been boring mid

I think the thing they did wrong was exposed the killer to fast. Now its just a cat and mouse game which we know raylan will win and we just waiting for the final episode now.

Plus we have zero attachment to these new characters outside of raylan. Like if any of these characters get merked meh who cares. When friggin side character mikey got merked i was :to: because of all teh buildup through the years

Season 5 with Michael Rappaport is easily the weakest point in the series.
