I get why some ppl don't like the daughter but I think I get what they're going for. Raylan's never been attached to a girl/woman like this before, he can't just get rid of her but at the same time he's definitely not moving like a father. Yeah it's his job but Mansell clocked him with the "must love the job" line. The daughter knows it too, he had no real come back in the diner because anything besides "I'll do better" woulda been a lie. She scares him too because theres just a bit of him in there too.

I almost forgot how much I hate.children/teenagers in the shows I watch

Yeah...

The whole precocious, rebel child who's big mad at their parents is so god damn played out. They always write it so one note. Teenagers aren't 100% sarcastic all the fukking time.

I'd love if the show got clever with it and just had Raylan call it out like: "I know you're going thru your sassy teenager stage to get my attention, but once you start canoodling with a known murderer then you've crossed the line. So cut the shyt"

Anyway. The actress who played his pretend daughter in season 2 was great. Can't remember her name. She was a Bennet I believe. And her voice was a normal pitch.
