Merged the DNA of Doomsday and Parademons together!?!? Doomsday alone can murder Darkseid. Merging that with Parademons and creating a limitless army of them??

yeah I legit thought this was gonna backfire on him. That if not Trigon then this would be the distraction. Those things were ripping apart captain marvel level chars and even on Earth they were out of control attacking luthor's mooks

What they did to Cheetah and Bane was just plain savagery. And Captain Marvel chopped off leg was :gag: even by animation standards. Ripping Starfire body like that was plain brutal murder.

Guess Darkseid revived her and changed it to be an efficient life form to his servitude. Wonder Woman got it bad too, for such an iconic character. Got her arm chopped off and half her face into a machine. Cyborg's body reduced to pieces on the Source Wall was almost as bad. It definitely a snuff film

this is the animated film that Marvel from the 90s always wanted. Tons of blood, cursing, grim scenario. Crazy to see how far DC push these animated films and to see how this is what the polar opposite of Avengers "Endgame" was. And another reason why Darkseid unchained is worse than Thanos. Besides that, this is among the darkest New Gods story I have seen outside of comic books.
