Yo man this scene still makes my blood boil and is hard to get through all these years later. fukk Shane forever b/c he got off easy and was a coward that took his own family with him. Goggins is a hell of an actor though b/c I still see Shane in whatever he plays and still feel a way about him.

Just finished watching and it's a great show.

@ Lem and Gardocki getting the worst fates even though they proved to be the most loyal dudes in the end. Especially Gardocki man. Full confession from Vic and no other Strike team members or dirty cops to use as leverage for a deal.

Shane was always a scumbag so fukk him honestly but I've gotta say the acting, especially in those last few episodes was amazing. You could gradually see him becoming more and more desperate as he and Mara's options became more limited. Mara was a straight up bytch too but their performances really made their ending haunting for me. Shane in the end was a man who lost all hope and saw no way out, even for his kids who were completely innocent.


As mentioned before, Mara was a straight bytch but at least she remained loyal to Shane right to the end, unlike fukking Corrine. The nerve of that woman. More than happy to live in the nice house Vic bought and to accept his money without asking questions but as soon as the heat is on, runs for hills, talking about how she's scared of Vic and shyt when dude was a model husband and father to her the whole time .


What happened with the whole cat killing and illegal porn thing with Wagenbach? Seemed like they were going to do a whole potential serial killer thing with him which could have been interesting but just never went amywhere with it.


Loved how they shot Vic's ending too. They brilliantly portrayed a man who lost it all in the end. Family, friends, reputation and purpose. Although it could have been much worse than typing up reports for three years. Just ask Gardocki.


But by far the best thing about this show was Forrest Whittaker as Kavanaugh. Wow . Dude might honestly have put in the best TV performance I've ever seen. Certainly right up there with James Gandolfini as Tony Soprano.

Damn shame the show isn't on Netflix. Also you can barely find clips on Youtube. Both have really hurt its legacy IMO. To me, The Shield is arguably a top 5 show. And it has the best finale season of any show and, by far, the best finale episode. No one is even in the same ballpark when it comes to the finale.

This show was post 9/11 But before smart phones. Seems almost like a 90s show. Always thought it was low key racist.

Probably the film quality makes it look like a 90s show. The Sopranos episodes from the same time look more modern IMO.

Yea this is one of the few shows where overall the ENTIRE cast killed their roles.

Like there wasn’t really a weak actor or scene anywhere in all 6 seasons.

And that’s rare
