Just left the theatre.

I read this thread this other day thinking this shyt was average or something. You nikkas are terrible. This movie was brilliant. The pacing, the story, the shaken confidence, Naomie Harris (God Dammit this woman looks good), tragedy, a bit of a look into Bond's backstory. Some of the shots were RIDICULOUS

The shot where the assassin was up on the roof and Bond was hiding in the reflection of the lights OR the shot when he was riding on the boat into the chinese casino OR how the subway chase scene was shot. I was kinda feeling suffocated a bit:lawd:

I'm bout to go function now. This movie crazy. Go see that shyt.

I agree with the OP. This doesn't feel like a Bond film. To me, it's a dope beginning, middle/ending is dope once "Skyfall" is in effect (that's a spoiler but you won't know what it means until you see the movie). But the middle of the film is just good. I wish the villian could have done more. He was good and the right person for the role. Just wished he was even more villianish.

Wish Bond had more toys and a love interest. I mean it was one but not really. Mainly, I like Bond being a spy. Not Bourne. But it's a low B+. Well done film. Just not a Bond film to me.

It was pretty good but I dunno...some things bothered me about it. I thought the whole rogue agent thing was done better in Goldeneye. Id still say this is a top 3 Bond flick. Solid action and decent story overall. Not the amazing action flick I was expecting tho. I was expecting like a 10/10 flick from the reviews Ive seen it was more like a 8/10. Looper still the best action flick this year to me

I think that the next one will be a true 'bond' movie

as they introduced Q got a male M and also moneypenny the 3 movies were to show bond starting out it was reboot cause if you notice in the 3 he made alot of mistakes which the normal bond does not do

I didn't like it. The humanizing of super hero types is played out. I just wanted a Bond flick with dope action scenes, exotic locales, beautiful Bond girls, iconic villians, and an epic score. There was only a fraction of it in this film. The only standout was Javier but he didn't have enough dialogue (from him or about him). The final stand was too long and nothing I haven't seen before

I didn't dislike it enough to continue my rant, but I left the theatre pretty dissatisfied

yea, you must follow the old bond films, especially the original sean connery ones to understand...

with that said, as much it was different, this film felt a bit VINTAGE at the same time. this was the BOND that we came to know. the previous two were a bond that was still a bit naive and emotionally distracted.

we had none of that on this one. homie was cold-blooded, and focused.
