Thanx brehs.

This third one has me interested in watching the old ones now

To even go a bit deeper. I remember reading an interview with the writer of Quantum of Solace, which is underrated to me, where he stated that the first Craig trilogy was the re-introduction of SPECTRE who was Bond's original antagonist in the Ian Fleming novels. Every "Villain" since Le Chiffre in Casino Royale has been well funded and had the backing of a nameless organization. They were supposedly partially outed in Quantum of Solace.

They tried to go dark before with Dalton which is supposedly closer to the novels, but the audience wasn't ready for it. They wanted that campy Roger Moore shyt. It took the Bourne trilogy success for them to commit to the dark side again

All 3 are good, me personally Im not into the whole James Bourne thing. Hes got too crazy hand skills compared to the other Bonds, thats the one and only thing Id change about the whole reboot thing honestly

each bond had fighting styles suited to the era moore was throwing around karate chops connery was fist fighting etc etc

plus you would think a secret agent whose job is assassination and infiltration would have some serious hand game ?

Your right glad I wasnt the only one noticing that. Connery would be picking up chairs n shyt, dude gave no fukks while scrapping. Moore swore he was Bruce Lee with his fist fights:heh:

Yo no spoilers but was Bardems villain a lil 'sweet'? One scene had me:scusthov:

I don't think he was. I think he was just demonstrating how committed you gotta be to manipulate a target. He was purposely trying to rattle Bond.

If you say so:sitdown:

He was a good villain, Bardem played him the exact opposite of his NCFOM villain. He was enteraining and creepy as fukk, obviously had a lil parts of Ledgers Joker though. Part of me wishes they gave him more time than the middle to last half. But it was cool seeing Bond going back n forth with the villain like old Bonds. I felt that was missing mostly in QoS

It was pretty good but I dunno...some things bothered me about it. I thought the whole rogue agent thing was done better in Goldeneye. Id still say this is a top 3 Bond flick. Solid action and decent story overall. Not the amazing action flick I was expecting tho. I was expecting like a 10/10 flick from the reviews Ive seen it was more like a 8/10. Looper still the best action flick this year to me
