Tell your sister to stop looking for validation from the opposite sex. A person's self esteem shouldn't be decided by others opinions. She has to start loving herself and stop caring what others have to say.

Do you guys really believe this passive garbage when you say it?

His sister is suppose to be living in a community that sees nothing wrong with her hair or how she chooses to wear it. The problem is black people do not control what goes into their heads and what influences them.

A reminder that we gotta do our part to bring black power back and improve the black economy.

White people white washed some black people into hating natural features

Told her this, cant live your life depending on how others see you. But shes just a young girl and to be hated just because of how you look is gonna affect her mentally, i dont want her to have a fukked up perception of black men because of this.

You can't control that, breh.People have experiences that change them forever. It's part of life. It all goes back to looking for male validation. Those boys who made fun of her were wrong but they have a right to date anyone they want:manny:. It's best to teach children the reality of the world early:ld:, so they don't become bitter, resentful adults.

OP, first and foremost thank you for looking after your little sister and looking for ways to protect her from negativity. But, as much as I hate to admit it:

Really there's nothing we can say the fact of the matter is your sister is black that means she is part of a race with men who have no economy, no media (besides the anti-black garbage that is hip hop). It's extremely difficult for black women to find spaces where they are respected and cherished.

This is a harsh truth. The c00nery is fukking real out here and anti-black woman sentiment is at an all time high. As a black woman, I don't even know how to protect black girls from this shyt. It's great that you pulled her out of her old school, but there's no guarantee that the new one will be any better. All you can do is love her, tell her how beautiful she is, how beautiful her hair is and build her up every chance you get. Check up on her daily, and if she tells you about any boy harassing her, put his ass in check! The hardest thing about being a black woman/girl is how unprotected you are and how everyone comes up with an excuse of why they can't defend you. I hope posters her understand why we complain about posts and memes that they think are "funny" and "no big deal".

Breh frfr there is a lot of things that we as black men need to change. bytch and hoe should not be a synonym for a black woman but those terms are used in a lot of our music and in just daily conversations. Ive seen how the c00ns of my generation will put down black women and put white girls on a pedestal. My lil niece is 6 and she is like a lil princess to me and it hurts my heart knowing that she's gonna deal with shyt like this from the men of her own race on top of the racism from whites:mjcry:

This is why im scared of having daughters. Black girls take so much effort to raise right because literally everything is an attack on their self esteem. Its can be hard for dark boys too but girls have it worst. I would say is try your best to be her loudest supporter. Compliment her hair and encourage her to keep it up. Its tough but outside of changing the world dont know anyother way to fix this.

I think its the opposite that actually happened to her honestly, she got that early wake up call about how she and her race is treated in society and it fukked her up. Im glad we had a good convo about it and ill be sure to be talking to her a lot more now, communication can help a lot of things i believe.

I guess shes "woke" now but i dont want that to turn into resentment against her own race of men, for every c00n out there its good brothers too.

And of course its easy to say dont seek validation from men but think about society breh, women and young girls are conditioned to be validated by men... Love and communicate with your daughters and sisters brehs :snoop:

Look on meetup.com for groups of positive black women, search for other groups of inspirational black women in your area. She needs to be around strong black women in order to balance out the ignorance that she deals with majority of her life right now. She has to be around black girls and women who will make her feel beautiful and see her value. Maybe there are youth groups in your city? Find out her interests and then look for groups of black people who share those interests.

Sadly alot of young black males suffer from severe c00n views
Damn I hate to agree with this but its true. Im even seeing this with my nephew. :francis:

But what do you expect tho. Black parents rarely talk to there kids about race and color. If your black child is learning that lesson through a tv screen they are gonna internalize that antiblackness that is literally everywhere. My kids will be too proud to be black.

They're not excuses. You're a black woman you're paired with the most powerless group of men on this earth. We can't protect you. We can't even protect ourselves. We can't provide jobs for ourselves.

I believe in reality and logic, :mjpls: how about you? I'm not one to say what people are supposed to do because I am not God. I delve in the real world and in that world there will be people who dislike you for a myriad of reasons. It's best not to dwell on or try to change other people's opinion of you. That kind of thinking will have you seeking the approval of people who don't even like you for the rest of your life.

I mean.. Hip Hop is our largest medium and how are we portrayed on there? How are our women portrayed? If someone who had never met a black person only listened to hip hop what would they think of them? :snoop:
