lets be honest here. a lot of businesses are capital intensive to start. and most blacks don't have the capital or access to the necessary capital to start up a business.
I'm not sure about Mexicans but I've seen a good amount of Central Americans eating Taco Bell when I was in Long IslandMexicans don't honor or really even eat at any Americanized Mexican food joint so...
Never heard of it
man, I was just at my boy's crib on monday, and he was talkin bout goin down there. he's a regular club goer still, but this is one of the spots he frequents
kinda sad, cuz he will be not having $100 to his name or money to get a basic repair done to his vehicle, but was already talking about getting bottle service and VIP access at the spot.
according to elle driver and panthera black men are raining in the dough
the will (EDIT: and focus) to organize.I don't disagree with you but what is stopping us from doing the same???
And why aren't we promoting these types of things more
Like i said Breh...black upper, middle, and lower class keep that place afloat while our own businesses drown and are treated by us as second class establishments...how do we change this

I'm talking constant shootings, murders, fights, etc... But in the white mans club it's all gucci

ya'll don't have to patronize those places tho
I recently read an article on dnainfo about the best black owned restaurants in the city. I immediately saved them all in my phone so I could try some of them this summer. I also told one of the girls in my running group about it because she mentioned black owned places to eat, and I had the info right there in front of me.
Well the blacks that can.. would roll out to Africa. Like I said... the vast percentage of AA's are going to remain in the USA
The owner
Now check out their site, gallery and tell me as a black person how you feel about this

I'm well aware of that, but I have to imagine there are plenty of Mexicans who do eat Taco Bell and that I would have seen it if there were more Mexicans on Long Island.Taco Bell is based on Mexican food. Central American food =/= Mexican food
It sounds cliche, but education will be a cornerstone in uplifting the black community. Black men need to pride ourselves more in intellectual pursuits and achievements and less in hypermasculinity
