I thought it was ok 6.5 out of 10. Although I dozed off
after the kid snuck down and started helping them let the dinosaurs out. What happened after that?
maybe that part was the key to enjoying the movie.

Please let this franchise die

The film felt longer than 2h 8min, it dragged to me

The opening scene is by far the best in the film, the suspense was on point

The little girl being a clone :really1:, I knew it was going to be a topic in this series eventually but still

Another super hybrid ultra killer dino that can't handle a velociraptor :mjlol:

I guess the next film will be called Jurassic Monster Hunter World :lolbron:

Yo that ending tho

They really let a kid set a T-Rex and a Velociraptor loose on the world :dead:

Monosaurus in the cut too :demonic:

I don't see how the next movie doesn't start with the US army just blasting the shyt out of these Dinosaurs.

Fun movie :yeshrug:

Was wondering why this thread was dead, didn't realize y'all (Murrica) were getting it so late :ohhh:

Flipside, this'll give Solo a few more weeks to rake in the credits :troll:

I liked the movie up until the ending. That last 5 minutes killed it for me. Some Grade A bullshyt writing.

There were two boys sitting in front of me who had NO IDEA what that ending meant.

They were basically on some:

Cool! The T-REX is going to live in the zoo with the lion!

And the dad was :dame:how I'm gon explain this shyt

Finally got around to seeing it today and the bad word of mouth is overblown. There are definitely some very questionable plot developments in the movie that leave you like :dahell:.

I caught onto the clone granddaughter right away and although it sorta fits the universe where genetic altering/cloning is achievable, it was still an awful, awful subplot that had no business being in this movie.

Luckily J.A. Bayona is the best director to hit the franchise since Spielberg and despite all the bombast and nonsensical happenings he absolutely makes the most of it. His horror roots are very noticeable and he loves playing with light and darkness, and those scenes are easily the best.

On the other hand this is also a movie where a velociraptor jumps from an explosion through a window like John McClane, and for at least ten minutes afterwards I wondered if a spin-off called Dino Hard could work or not. Considering that:

that same velociraptor kills the evil dinosaur by making him fall from (through) a roof in slow motion like Hans Gruber, I concluded this movie is already that.:ehh:
