This has been know for at least 4 weeks and you got dudes still in here talking about Jalen can't read a defense. That in itself is the most ignorant football catch phrase ever created.
Now despite baldy saying ad nausem how the scheme has no adjustments for the blitz, people will still find a way to blame Jalen.
Opposing players calling out plays based on the offensive formation. The coaching staff refusing to run the ball. The QB wanting to use more of the middle of the field and intermediate passing game and being ignored.
But yeah, Jalen is "not that guy" "can't read a defense" "can't throw in the middle of the field" etc...

They just couldn’t wait to hate on Hurts that is all. Any another QB would fail in this offense.
A lot of people are putting the lack of blitz adjustments on Hurts. My thought process is - if the coaches are telling him to do this as this has been a problem since week 1 and he isn't listening, why is he starting?

There's 8 yrs of tape out there...when has he proven he can dissect defenses in the middle of the field??? When has he consistently beaten blitzes with drags, non-RPO slants, curls, hitches, etc...
Why was Indy successful with Sirianni as OC against the blitz?
How many post patterns has Jalen completed in the past 3 yrs?
We see guys open who don't get the ball and he's throwing deep into double coverage & you expect me to think he can read a def?????
If this is what $255M gets you, we got bamboozled into giving out that contract
He played a cpl good games this season, but overall his play has been piss poor
I got smoke for the LBs, the Corners, and Jalen...but if anyone thinks a $255M shouldn't beat teams with less than 9 wins, they are sorely mistaken

I did not see a top 5 QB this season
If a new OC comes in and we see the same tendencies from him, I guess that new guy will get 100% of the blame too

i have no idea why he is going so hard...the cowboys were mopped up by a 7 seed...a first...we were already in a slide...both teams were eliminated in wild card..nothing he can do or say about the eagles can change the fact....moral victories i guess

As an inside observer. The clues were there from week one that this was the ultimate outcome for this season, most of us ignored it cause they only had one loss. Some were out on this season after they los to the seahawks. The grim reality and hard truth really set in for most of us in here when they lost to the Cardinals in Week 17.
