We went from middle class to the projects because of his death. My great mother on her own forced all her kids to still channel our anger into our education. She died my senior year in high school. All my parents kids are college graduates and married. So they did a fantastic job along with my grandparents. Trust my wife worked with kids from the spectrum to runaways. She has stories for days about how the system is and the issues that come with trying to help the youth (especially doing the right thing). I get your frustrations as these youngins can be a pain in the damn ass, but these kids need more Judge Wapner than Robocop.

Trust, I get what you are saying. As I said before, its a ying to yang to this shyt, especially concerning trying to help the youth and just the community in general. Thus, why I teach my son that this world can be a cold and cruel place, because quite frankly these youngins treat this world like nothing is going to happen to them.

Never mind, the laws trying to be fixed in order to start the youngins off early in the system.

Never mind, the lack of organizations throughout the country because funding is getting gutted.

Never mind, the schools that are getting faded into obscure and past voids, because the educational system quite frankly fukking sucks.

Sometimes, its good to give these youngins some tough love. Ole girls case, she was involved in something that should have been helpful, if the judge wasn't such a fukking lughead about the situation.

Bottom line, I just hope the teenager has peace and a place to sleep, which is the biggest thing I got from this entire shytshow.

DETROIT (AP) — A Detroit judge who was temporarily removed after ordering a teenager into jail clothes and handcuffs during a field trip is back on the bench but assigned to speeding tickets and other relatively minor offenses.

Judge Kenneth King lost courtroom duties in August and was ordered into social-emotional training by the chief judge at 36th District Court. Instead of handling key hearings in major felonies, he returned this week to the court's traffic division.

“We appreciate his efforts in preparing for this role, and wish him success as he transitions into this new responsibility,” Judge William McConico said in a written statement.

King's attorney, Todd Perkins, said the judge is willing to work anywhere at the court.

“He truly understands and wholeheartedly embraces the concept of teamwork,” Perkins said Thursday.

King got in trouble for singling out a 15-year-old girl for falling asleep and having what he considered to be a bad attitude while she was visiting his courtroom with other teens.

He ordered Eva Goodman into jail clothes and handcuffs — all while the field trip was on a livestream video. King also threatened her in front of her peers with juvenile detention before releasing her.

The girl's mother, Latoreya Till, said she may have been tired because they don’t have a permanent address. King told TV stations that he apologized.

Till has filed a lawsuit, seeking more than $75,000 for "inflicting fear and severe emotional distress.”
