Many didn’t attend because you can see through that shyt.

When black men do form a solid foundation and movement it’s targeted by the government i.e. black panthers.

Many black men help via youth groups and after school programs but are not attention seekers or need to pose for IG pics for gratification
Black men as a whole provide without expecting anything in return.

That's a lie. A lot of the marches are organized by Black men too and are full of Black male supporters. This dude and Joe Brown are annoying.

It’s not a lie and many of the marches were more for black female ego and cac guilt.

You can spout off any narrative about black men and receive praise so long as you coat it with black women worship. We make for easy punching bags, and you ebony mother goddess simps are partly to blame. Of course most of the blame is on black women's unwarranted sky high egos, but that conversation can never be had here

What he's saying isn't even true

oh shyt :leon:pleasantly surprised to be wrong
Male vs. Female

  • During the daytime hours, the majority of Black Lives Matter protesters were male in Atlanta (58%), Minneapolis (56%) and New York (62%). However, in Los Angeles, the greatest number of protesters during daytime were women. At nighttime, the percentage of male protesters increased in all four cities.
African American Males vs. Female

  • African American males made up the majority of protesters in the four observed cities vs. females. Men vs. women in Atlanta (61% vs. 39%), in Los Angeles (65% vs. 35%), in Minneapolis (54% vs. 46%) and in New York (59% vs. 41%). There was no statistical change for the nighttime hours.
How Old Were the Protesters?

  • The overall age of the protesters in all four cities skewed heavily in the 18-34 age ranging from 66% in New York and L.A., 67% in Minneapolis to 69% in Atlanta. Protesters in the 55+ age group ranked second ranging from 24% in New York, 23% in Atlanta and Minneapolis to 20% in Los Angeles. Minneapolis was the only city showing a statistically significant change where the younger age group grew from 65% to 74% from day to nighttime and the 55+ group shrank from 24% to 18%. Protesters in the 35-54 age group was less than 10% overall.

Eh, I’m not disagreeing with you.

To be fair, judge Mathis is old school. He came up in a time where there were more black two parent households, where there weren’t as many Brehs raised without fathers, and more black males leading their homes in general. All of his kids including his gay son are married. He’s still married. They all kept it black.

Our community in the 2020 era is just not the same. The media tends to hone in on movements and organizations/efforts led by bw. We just don’t hear or see much media representation of bm led movements. Instead when the media/news focuses on bm it’s largely about the negative shyt.

I wish he wouldn’t have made these comments though, whether they’re accurate or inaccurate it leads to a lot of defensiveness, finger pointing and division. I can already see where this thread is headed, brehettes are going to be blamed/attacked for an observation he made. Sigh.

We can’t even blame black women at this point. A good chunk of black women don’t require this ego boost and pandering. A good chunk of black women are intelligent logical individuals. But when someone panders to your demographic without cause or coercion, then would you reject that pandering? I can’t blame black women. Judge Mathis knew what he was doing. Derrick Jaxson knew what he was doing. These black men need to be blamed and shamed on their own. Black women didn’t hold them at gunpoint.
