Why do you guys have sand in your vagina because she called it “performance art”? :dahell:

How is performance art different from theatrics? Jericho has always said wrestling is theatrics. That’s basically the same as performance art. :gucci:

Half of these posts sound like bitter 80s wrestlers. :dead:

Exactly, shyt is storyline based television.

Some of the most popular wrestlers of all-time had 4-5 wrestling moves.

Pro wrestling obviously is performance art, who the fukk would argue that? It's literally people using their bodies to physically perform stories for a live audience. These fukking nerds who get mad at people not selling it as 100% legitimate sport on their off time because it "exposes the business" yet they themselves "expose the business" by having the conversation at all, or in Jim Cornette's case literally do constant shoot interviews and podcasts exposing IN DETAIL then bytching when current wrestlers don't want to act like it's 1972 anymore :mindblown:

Not only is this shyt performance art BUT IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN.

The wrestlers are performing, playing the part of competitors in a combat sport.

The audience is in on the performance, they are playing the role of an audience watching a real athletic contest.

Little kids think it’s real but for the rest of us it’s like a play or a movie, where we go in knowing it’s a performance but we let ourselves get taken by the suspension of disbelief.

What makes it different than a movie which is art, is the performance of it being done live. And just like in any art there are those that do it by the numbers and there are those that master the tools and techniques and give you some shyt that actually manipulates your emotions or makes you consider things in a different way.

Cornette is just trolling for attention and he’s living in a kayfabe world that doesnt exist anymore.

Corny still has it. Bunch of marks on her crying that he's mean and he's bitter, he's got them all in their feelings. That's what a heel does. Everyone knows the business is predetermined, corny ain't even saying heels and faces can't talk and people gotta live the gimmick, he's essentially saying STFU about it. Forget about the wrestlers, the business is trash because there fans are soft now too, bunch of grown men crying that corny is bitter and mean.
