Vault-Tec is absolutely the villians in the game. Many of the vaults were control experiments on its inhabitants so the reveal is on point

I'm talking about outside of the vaults. I remember the villains were another group. They had suits like Finn 2.0 did but they were more sinister looking. But here in the show it's the company

I would kill for that. 2 is my favorite out of all the fallout and wasteland games. But unfortunately we know that won’t happen in this timeline

I'm not privy to all the politics going on with the devs and what's happened to the IP since (sounds like fukkery tho), but it does feel like they dropped the ball by not having a new fallout game come out with this show or in development.

Your talking about the Enclave. The Enclave are remnants of the US government and they work with Vault tech.

Did you not see the pods in vault 31? She was probably in a pod. Plus it’s obvious she was a power player back in the day, so she had connections.

They’re not gonna explain everything in one season. That’s why it’s a series. :shaq2:

She wasn't from their vault. They just never explained it. The same with her and the savages. That didn't even make any sense because they show she had a bunch of soldiers at her command so why did she need a bunch of unpredictable savages to help her take over the vault along with killing people? People which consisted of the the two children of her dead friend :what: How did the father not even know who she was in the first episode if he has already encountered her before?

A LOT about that character made NO sense and they were a big piece for lot of events in the show.

Finished the series.

Jonathan Majors 2.0 was just Finn 2.0 :mjlol:

It was good for the most part, budget was really good but the ending/final episode was trash. Too many unresolved points.

Like
How did the Indian lady even survive for 200 years and how did she control the savages?. Also I don't remember the company being the villains in the game.

It's like they knew there would be a season 2 so nothing was wrapped up/ended abruptly.
I'm assuming she was doing what the other execs were doing too, in stasis and waking up periodically?

I’m not saying she was in their vault. I’m just saying she was probably in a pod somewhere.

And maybe she hired the Raiders so they can get dirt on their hand instead of the NCR. That’s not a good look for the NCR’s rep to destroy a vault.

Her origins aren’t completely revealed either since we don’t know if her and the dad met in the previous life. She was just part of their network that had several corporations under an umbrella.

Anyways, whether or not more of her character is revealed, she was just a pawn in the storyline. :skip:

Great show, best video game adaptation of all time in my opinion (so far, anyways). That being said, I gotta nitpick something that I hated:

I don't like the decision to reveal Vault-Tec started the nuclear war for two reasons.

1. It takes away from the core point the franchise always had..which was that it didn't matter whether China or the US started it. Both countries failed humanity in the leadup to the war.

2. The idea that Vault-Tec would launch the nuclear war to "win capitalism" is stupid and antithetical to capitalism. Capitalism works because it fosters innovations and improvements in efficiency, which causes markets (and prosperity) to grow. Launching a nuclear war has the exact opposite effect. Vault-Tec wants to "win capitalism" by simply outlasting every company and then rule a ball of dirt? What?

[/SPOILER]

The character was a major lynchpin of the series plot wise. You can't leave things unexplained and then
kill off the character before any said explanations

I think that vault tec was mad that the war WASNT popping off... like they are war profiteers to the extreme and their bread and butter is selling vaults to the rich globally and if the war doesnt pop off they lose money... also remember on the show they was buying up all the technologies on the low preparing for the end. they are like a twisted version of the illuminati. controlling the world behind the scenes...war for profit stuff like that. Also this was the plan of many evil corporations wipe out the undesirables and come from the underground to take over IE resident evil

What?

we have whole corporations lobbying to slow down or undermine innovations to maintain profit. We had modern electric cars in the 90s but the companies stifled it to keep gas cars the norm.

Airplane industry is partly why America doesn’t have high speed rail.

Cold fusion would have undermined the tensions around nukes and nuclear energy. Free power would undermine a lot of industries.

America doesn't have high speed rail because America loves they cars too much AND racism, half the ppl in the country can't afford to fly and they scared to, airplanes are expensive and cramped, plus standby a drag

Racism yeah. But we also tore up our rail system and buikdings to put in streets. That wasn’t innovation which is the point I’m making.

If only there were some alternative, cheaper form of public transportation that can make long and small trips with few standbys….

That would be capitalism addressing a problem

Whites used capitalism when they want to use it, otherwise it's socialism, ie.. your money
