MVP race been over, but he’s running away with it….we’re witnessing the GOAT in his prime
There have been many times where the most deserving player did not win MVP. Often robbed because of narrative.
It's a nice tidbit that nobody has won 3 in a row since Larry Bird in the mid-1980s.
But there are strong arguments that Jordan could have won 5-7 in a row in the 1980s-90s. Lebron could have taken 4 or 5 in a row in the late 00's and early '10s.
Jokic is playing fantastic basketball and if he does win a 3rd in a row, it will be deserved.

I know it's already been said but I'm saying it again. The MVP is a regular season award. Playoff performances have nothing to do with whether or not he deserves it.
