If MVP voting was to end today it really should be Jokic

We'll see how the season plays out but it would be hard to not give it to him currently.
It's gonna be really close between Jokic and Doncic. The same thing that helped Jokic's case last season, will be there for Luka: the Mavs are trash besides him. Even worse than Denver's roster last year.

We're in the middle of a historic run with Jokic that The Culture will look back upon as one of the greatest runs ever...

The weight is mounting though, it's going to come. He has his horses back now, they have to start being annual title contenders---->and I believe they will be. He's in Y8 with an improving and still young squad around him. Those of you who don't like him may be in for a long stretch of disappointment until he stops playing at this level...

What's really funny is how people will compare him to Giannis moving forward, both in present and historically. The gap isn't that big. At all, if there even is one. Jokic has been more consistently great in the playoffs. Jokic has elevated inferior rosters around him more...

Giannis gets initial support for that championship, cool. Waiting to see him do it again without all the breaks he caught two years ago. Cats can say we're waiting on Jokic to do it once, Jokic has been the only constant on a roster plagued with injuries. Their situations haven't been the same...

The culture will treat these worse than the Nash MVP’s if he doesn’t make the conference finals this year :comeon:

Yeah Jokic is pretty good, but Kyle Anderson locked him up :unimpressed:

In all seriousness, how is this big, pudgy slow footed euro so god damn good? He doesn't miss shots, his defense isnt fully exploitable, hes a top passer in the league. What the fukk are you supposed to do? :wow: :mjcry:

We won't compare him to Nash unless his career parallels Nash. Y8 Nash was 2004. Are we going to sit here and pretend '04 Nash and '23 Jokic are the same caliber of player?

Jokic already has a WCF under his belt. I agree that he needs not just another, he needs several more, that's the weight of responsibility that comes as a multiple-time MVP. It would be a historic underachievement if he plays, say, another decade and his only WCF appearance was in Y5...

No one thinks that'll happen though. He's already better than Nash. This Denver team are my favorites to win The West this season...

nuggets are obvious favorites to win the chip this and probably for the next 5 or so seasons….we’re witnessing the greatest offensive player of all time in his prime right now….bar minimum we should see a Warriors-esque dynasty in Denver…wouldn’t doubt they threaten Chicago's 6 in 8 years
