I wonder what kind of contracts John was signing when he was alive for directing and producing? His films have grossed a good number and he had a hit tv show with Snowfall.

I mean dude been living in LA , married and divorced multiple times in the worst state to do so, has seven kids (child support), and apparently ran someone over which was probably a husky civil settlement. $6 mil kind of makes sense considering all that and the fact he only worked when he wanted to

These aren't blockbusters and most of them are from the 90's. Directors don't get paid nearly what actors get, he wasn't making big budget movies, and he wasn't getting consistent work.

6 million sounds great for what he accomplished.

Which movies you feel that way for? He wasnt directing your summer blockbusters and just because baby boy stays on loop on BET doesnt mean it was a billion dollar box office. He left his kids a legacy, god bless him. How many people can leave their kids millions
