The East is much better now.
What don’t you understand about Boston being a much better team ? Embiid is great but he’s no Bron .

Let’s not talk about hype ...

Ya boy Simmons is no Embiid or Bron . Would make a great 3rd star on a team tho .
When Embid was down Sixers looked way better with Simmons as the guy with this same roster

That’s literally not what he said .. y’all are illiterate as hell
Stop :cape:

This thread was made cuz he a Ben Stan . He’s happy the sixers are losing . He brought up Ben to make it seem as they would beat Boston with him instead of Embiid . Only a fool would believe that.

The ‘09 Magic should be the blueprint to build around Embiid. A competent PG that can initiate the offence and shooters would bring the best out of him because he would have room in the post and it would open up the P&R for him as well.

At the moment, he gets doubled every time in the post and then he starts to gradually move away from the basket to settle for jumpers. The spacing is horrible for him.

It's 2020. If you arent a star that cant initiate the offense, your impact is limited unfortunately
I don’t think it’s that. The problem is very few NBA teams know how to properly build around a talented big.

The 2009 Magic were ahead of their time. They’re pretty much the blueprint for a modern NBA offense anchored by a big. Star C in the middle, 4 shooters on the perimeter. Star C either scores or draws doubles and kicks it to shooters.

The Nuggets are like the only team that emulates this and it’s working for them. Yeah I know Jokic brings the ball up and initiates offense too but I feel he’d be successful even without that because the teams built to his strengths.

This really pissed me off when I saw this live. Couldn't make a simple entry pass

Kenny Smith made a good point at halftime where Embiid posted up too far out from the box, he said if he had the ball he wouldn't have gave it to Hakeem until he got deeper into the post

This play pissed me off but gave me PTSD flashbacks. JRich is a good player but his decision making and passing are a step behind. I know Embiid was frustrated by that because it should have been an easy trip to the line or two points.

Yeah, Embiid could do better and seal him off better but damn

This isn’t college, stars run the NBA and Embiid should be able to carry his team past the 1st round in the East at this stage of his career.

real life isnt 2K....even if embiid averaged 50 and 30.....the celtics are STILL the better team....

what about this is difficult to understand?

Lebron had his squad in the finals with Mo Williams as his 2nd option, Embiid could at least be competing for the Eastern conference finals considering the hype he’s had up to this point

2 different types of players.....

lebron has a way of getting EVERYONE involved.....not quite the same thing
