this is the terrible thinking by this generation

you stick with it, you arent supposed to win... people are hurt
you build more and get another player. You arent supposed to win when your team isnt healthy
Boston is a great team that's expertly coached, its not a bad thing to lose to Boston
You bring the team together and focus on next year and plan on being healthy. Crying at 25 years old is inexcusable
The fact that people think you should win says enough... you need to bring a full deck to the table before crying. Plus Embiid himself is injured, I dont know what you'd expect other than an L
Look at KD and Lebron, you dont gain strength by running from your weakness. Being hurt is a legitimate excuse for not winning. You have about 6 more years before that journeyman shyt ... get your money and your hunger up and be the actual leader on a team before you hide behind some other loser. Especially if you are injury prone in the first place, you better carve a lane and not fall into the category of riding dikk... people are gonna sign you over and over for riding dikk... but teams will give you another chance for being professional and a leader.

He needs someone to constantly put him in check.

When LaMarcus Aldridge got complacent and didn't play up to his standards pop had Timmy go and talk to him :mjlol:

Shaq been at his head for how he plays but he can only do so much. He needs a veteran big that isn't named al horford , who is clearly just there because he got paid, that will help him and keep him in check. Its a start :yeshrug: and then surround him with pieces that will actually compliment him

The Sixers were never better than the Celtics and what was he supposed to accomplish without Simmons :dahell:
Elton Brand built a terrible team that can’t shoot

they looked so much better when they had JJ and Marco. also, it goes back to what @Gil Scott-Heroin says. him and I have been saying the same thing for a while now, mainly in defense of AD because people kept saying he was overrated because he didnt have any real playoff success with N.O.

Butler and Embiid should have been the combo and philly would have been solid on both ends of the court because butler would have gotten in his teammates ass

Embiid wouldn’t have been able to handle that. You see how he gets defeated already when things aren’t going his way. Dude is talented, but too much of a mental liability for that team.

HE SHOULD BE SURROUNDED
BY KNOCK DOWN SHOOTERS...

CURRENT ROSTER MAKES
IT TOO EASY TO DBL
WITHOUT PAYING FOR IT.

HE STILL TAKES TOO MANY
JUMP SHOTS THO.

This is hilarious coming from you.

your dumb ass criticizes LeBron for needing shooters around him & a certain set of teammates.

yet here you’re saying the same thing for Embiid. Where’s the vile hate you have for Embiid for needing shooters that your stupid ass gives to Bron every day?

Ben Simmons haters looking real dumb right now.
He's the team best defender and takes a load off Embiid shoulders offensively. Embiid looks like he's about to die every 4th quarter now cause he ain't built to carry a team on his shoulders to the extent that he has to now.
Apparently the offensive issues ain't all Ben fault since it's still trash even with Milton and Burk spacing the floor, only now it's none of the high pace push Ben brings and units without Embiid on the floor are cringe to watch
Tobias need to be getting way more blame to cause he really ain't stepping up at all

This isn’t true. Jimmy and Joel are very close. Jo wanted Jimmy back. Jimmy didn’t want to deal with Brett at all.

It doesn’t change the fact that Embiid isn’t built to handle criticism and adversity. His body language is fairly obvious to anyone that watches him play. He legit plays the way he feels the majority of the time. If things aren’t going his way, then he looks and acts disinterested.

The first time I changed the channel last night to game in the 2nd quarter, he had this dejected, defeated look in his face. He’s not mentally built enough to be your #1 option.

Also don’t forget Saric. Letting those 3 walk was the worst thing they could’ve done
