Flacco is a mediocre QB with a big arm. The only reason he's being talked up is that Super Bowl run which would have ended if the Broncos didn't shyt the bed.
he did have that crazy run, but there are qb who sometimes have that outlier :manny:

Lets be real Boldins the only one here we shoulda kept. Insulting to ask him to take a pay cut after what he did in the playoffs. Brandon Williams about to get paid too and not by us
how was it an insult

they paid Boldin big money when we traded for him and he never even produced a 1000 yard season

Torrey had more tds than him every year too

Ravens fan overrate the fukk out of dude

he was crazy inconsistent when he was here and the nikka was always complaining

2 1000 yard seasons in a run-first offense with Kaep though. :obama:

If the Falcons have Reed and Lewis in their defense, they win.

Ravens haven't beaten the Pats since Reed and Lewis retired.

Flacco caught lightning in a bottle that playoff run, otherwise he's Dalton:yeshrug:
Without Ed and Ray they're below .500 in a 4 year span while going 10-22 on the road. Quality quarterbacks don't post road records like that.

Joe is always gonna have a special place in my Raven loving heart because he had an amazing run in the 2012 playoffs and got my boy Ray another ring on his way out and Ed Reed and Sizzle's first and only ring.

I'm not gonna say he's a better QB than Matt Ryan, because Matt is more consistent and accurate. I've seen the good side of Joe, and I've also seen the really bad side. All Ravens fans, if being honest, have. We watch the games. We know.

With that said, I can't think of a single quarterback for a "top notch organization" who has consistently had less explosive, game-breaking players at the skill positions than Joe. Ever since Ray Rice got cut, we've had no one who can really make things happen for us but a 30 year old Justin Forsett for one season, and a 37 year old Steve Smith on his last legs.

We can get on Joe all we want, and for justifiable reasons, but he hasn't had great weapons in a long time. Not everyone is Brady with the greatest coach of all time and a system that allows him to flourish with any and all personnel.

So no, I won't say Joe is better than Matt, but I will say I would LOVE if we had talent even HALF as good as Julio Jones at our receiver position, or a back as good as Freeman or Coleman.

Put Flacco on that Falcons Kyle Shanahan offense with Julio and Freeman etc and toss Matt Ryan in that Ravens Marty Mornhinweg offense with 37 year old Smitty and a fullback that plays more snaps than the running backs then the Ravens are still 8-8 and the Falcons win the Super Bowl

Flacco >>>> Matt Ryan

Well if we're playing the swap game.. Give Ryan a defense that Baltimore had and he'd probably have 2 rings already. :manny:

Ryan has never had a great defense to save his ass. Ravens fans that like to bring up the Flacco vs Ryan comparison knows this as well. :mjlol:

Yeah it would help. At the same time though, those guys aren't gonna fix Joe failing to see the blitz coming, failing to see the open man, simply missing his receivers on easy throws, or his tendency to throw off his back foot or jump at the chance to throw to the check down. His most glaring flaws stem from poor mechanics and coaching. His head coach has no knowledge of offense whatsoever, and he's only had one season where his offensive coordinator was any good. Whatever potential he had to be great vanished a very long time ago when he got saddled with John Harbaugh and Cam Cameron.

I'd have to say this if the ravens had somehow had drafted a top five wide receiver like

Julio
Megatron
Aj Green
Dez Bryant
Antiono Brown
Demaryous Thomas

He'd have at least one more ring.......
He could have had one more ring if his kicker made that fg the year before they one the SB

There's no way we make it back in 2012 if we win in 2011. Same as the spurs in 2013 and 2014, the loss was used as fuel. The 2012 team was running on fumes and hope all year long. Honestly, I'm not sure Ray even plays in 2012 if they won it in 2011.
