Not tha main reason but he made numerous mistakes that led to defeat. Pretty stats are nice but he made crucial errors too
His coordinator called a five step drop passing play on 3rd and 1 up 16 points halfway through the 4th quarter. He also called another passing play on NE's 22 yard line up 8 when they had 3 time outs and we only needed a FG with under 4 minutes left.

What crucial errors did he make?

The Ravens are 31-33 since giving Flacco that ridiculous contract, but I guess they really had no choice
I said it when he signed it. If paying him Peyton or Brady or Rodgers money is what it takes to keep him then we should move on. The only way you can win with him is win a top shelf defense, reliable running game, and a great offensive line. Any of those vanish, and your window is emphatically slammed shut. He can't put a team on his back under any circumstances really.

What are you gonna do though, sometimes in life you're put in a position where you have no good options. He just won the Super Bowl and played great in their playoff run and it's not like they had any realistic options to replace him(Taylor wasn't ready to be the starter). I understand why they did what they did. Sometimes you take a leap of faith and hope for the best

Put Flacco on that Falcons Kyle Shanahan offense with Julio and Freeman etc and toss Matt Ryan in that Ravens Marty Mornhinweg offense with 37 year old Smitty and a fullback that plays more snaps than the running backs then the Ravens are still 8-8 and the Falcons win the Super Bowl

Flacco >>>> Matt Ryan

That playoff run was truly magical

Took out the a$$hole steelers who constantly bully us in our division.:ohlawd:

Took out New England who many ravens fans hate just as much if not more than the steelers.:ohlawd:

Took out denver who helmed by peyton manning who had knocked us out the playoffs soooo many times. :ohlawd:

LETS BE REAL... That was all DA GAWD... Bernard Pollard. AKA Patriot Killer. Man single handy ended 4 Patriot seasons.

Taking that sack.....sliding too early and not getting that first

Shanahan deserves a ton of blame....Coleman too.....im not placing it all on Ryan but he did make mistakes that you cant do

Of course the ATL
Ask @STAN JONES who he would rather have. This argument was deaded officially 2 years ago, it ain't even up for debate in 2017

Ask Ravens fans who they rather have as their QB.
As much as we shyt on Joe, Ryan ain't winning a playoff game with the receivers Joe had two seasons ago. He got the best in the game and still fall short. Joe ain't leading a team to only two points in a playoff game

thats not what i asked tho?

A lot of Ravens fans think Flacco is garbage. His inaccuracy is what pisses people off.

Ryan may not be great, but he better than Flacco.
