It's a bit of a semantics issue. The African diaspora is very diverse and includes the Latino community. There are many Black American citizens who have diverse ethnic and national backgrounds. It's a dumb thing for a presidential candidate to compare two marginalized minoritized populations when he's trying to get their votes. Biden needs to learn how to talk because everything he says gets spliced for soundbites. He should know that by now.
