Don't think he'll go back on his word
Plus suburban women is where Trump will lose the election
if I remember correctly White women were basically a draw in the last election.
might be a misconception to assume women will be a lock to vote for a woman.
White women went 53% for Trump...
But 2018 and recent polling shows he doesn't have that same support.
And yeah its a misconception, but this is the Democratic Party
I'm saying....the "I will pick a woman" thing pops in the Democratic Primary but he's got that locked up.
Its possible that it could hurt him in the general, though.
I think he will. I think now is clearly not the time to take risks like that imo.
not sure i agreeMy worry with him picking a woman is that she cannot win in 2024 assuming Biden is a one term President.

Which means it’ll probably be a while woman for Biden. A lot of women want someone who made it on her own
she’s single. Not happening, even tho she fits the profile
whitmer wins biden the 3 swing states and the election i would almost guarantee it
Saturday, March 7th 2020
....With four days before the state’s presidential primary, Whitmer said Biden was a natural pick for her, once the field became smaller....
When asked about vice presidential aspirations – especially after getting selected to deliver the Democratic response to the State of the Union – she indirectly said she wasn’t interested.
“I have never wanted to move to Washington, D.C., I’ll just be very honest with you,” Whitmer said. “I am 14 months into the job that I am so grateful for and I have a lot of work to do.”
...
Either way, Whitmer said she will have a close hand in vetting the person Biden does eventually pick for running mate and there’s one criteria she’s looking for.
“I think it’s really important that Michigan has the ability to drive the national agenda and that’s something that Joe Biden and I have talked about,” she said. “I do think that we should have a woman on the ticket.”
The female running mate should be a woman of color, she added. When asked who, she threw out names like Sen. Kamala Harris, Stacey Abrams and Val Demings...

they obviously win michigan, and by extension wisconsin. biden is from pennsylvania. thats the election
but id be surprised if she goes for it after such a short time as governor. bad look politically to 'abandon' the state
